Kang Sheng (1898 – December 16, 1975) was a native of Dataizhuang, Zhucheng County, Shandong Province. He once served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vice chairman of the CPC Central Committee, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He died in Beijing on December 16, 1975. In 1980, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China expelled him from the party, revoked his eulogy, and moved his ashes out of the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery.
