"The Witcher" John Higgins made it to the main stage by beating Chris Wakelin in the snooker European Masters qualifiers.
John Higgins, who had a bad performance in the previous snooker German Masters qualifiers, was unexpectedly eliminated against Thailand's Noppon Saengkham, but it is clear that the Wizard was not affected and soon found back in the European Masters qualifiers.
John Higgins did not dominate the game against Walkerin, who took a 3-1 lead with 78, 52 and 91 points, while Higgins came in to win 5-4 and successfully entered the European Masters.
Joe Perry also came in the tiebreaker against Steven Hallworth to win the decider, while Masters champion Yan Bingtao beat Ben Woollaston to get into the main stage.
