Interview with Kubo Ken In English and Spanish: Recovering from injuries is faster than expected, and returning to Mallorca is like coming home

On October 28, local time, Japanese teenager Kenei Kubo, who is now playing for Mallorca, accepted an exclusive interview arranged by the team. It is worth mentioning that the interview was conducted in Spanish throughout the interview. (The following is asked by Q on behalf of the reporter, and A is answered by Kubo Kenei)

Q: As a professional player, it's always quite difficult to get through injuries, is that also part of football?

A: It's really hard to survive during the recuperation period. I started training soccer at a very young age and until now this is the first time I've had to nurse an injury for so long. But the whole team cared a lot about me, and I was happy to be able to see my teammates running on the pitch on TV.

Q: It's a bit unaccustomed to watching team games on TV, you should be more accustomed to contributing to the team on the pitch. Do you feel nervous watching a game on TV?

A: To be honest, I prefer to help the team on the pitch and work with the team. But watching the team on TV allowed me to empathize with the mentality of the fans. In front of the TV, I feel happy when I gain the team advantage, and when I am in adversity, I feel like a needle in a haystack.

Q: I heard that you are currently undergoing recovery training, you should not wait to get back to your best, right?

A: Yes, I am recovering from my injuries well at the moment, and I am gradually recovering according to the predetermined plan. The physiotherapist and doctor gave me enough support and help to make my injury recovery in an orderly manner, and I am currently feeling good.

Q: What do you think of the recent status of the team?

A: If I have to say, I would like to see the team show itself to the fullest, even if it ends up losing. I think the team has played its own characteristics at the moment, but the result may not be satisfactory. Fans will be very concerned about the team's record for a while, but perhaps what makes them more concerned is the team's way of playing. I would be fully engaged in the game on the pitch before I thought about winning or losing.

Q: You can tell that coming back to Mallorca again this summer makes you happy. Is there a feeling of coming home?

A: Yes, I just want to get my injury back to the team quickly, get back to the team at my best, and give everything I have to the team.
