The wild cherry blossoms photographed by Teacher Helen Lin near the lake under the Xikou Pavilion made me a little hungry. Decided to follow in the footsteps of Teacher Lin and go to the area near the Siming Bridge to see the flowers.
Drive past the pavilion under the lake, first turn to the road leading to Yankeng Village, to see old friends coriander and catalpa grass. Coriander (Daphne genkwa), a small deciduous shrub of the genus Ruixiang, its lilac-like flowers are the most pleasing to me, elegant and bright.
Last year, I was too busy, and I was not very satisfied with the pictures I took. This time there is time, just to appreciate it carefully. There are many corianders here, one in the east and one in the west, growing in the bushes and on the edge of the cliffs, and from a distance, I thought it was the red of the rhododendron family. This time, I had enough of shooting, from the habitat to the plant, from the buds to the flowers, all photographed.
It is very strange that where there are coriander flowers, there is catalpa grass, are they both associated? Catalpa (Lithospermum zollingeri), a perennial creeping herb of the comfrey family, has flowers similar in color to those of the Arab mother-in-law, and is a beautiful dark blue that looks like a star on the ground.
On the hillside, there were a few plum trees (Prunus salicina), which seemed to have been abandoned and left unmanaged, and were tightly surrounded by weeds and weeds. However, their wild ability is also good, and at the moment, the white flowers are like snow, and the brakes are good-looking.
Continuing along the road, there is a blooming Cerasus discoidea between the nurseries, which looks like a pale pink light cloud floating in the mountains. Walking to the tree, I found that this spring cherry has reached the late stage, the breeze is blowing, the fall is colorful, many of the petals of the flowers have fallen out, only the purple sepals and white filaments are left, but between the branches, there is still a buzzing sky, a busy scene.
While photographing the wild cherry blossoms, Huayou Lianxin called and said that the silver hazel in Tangxi Village had blossomed. I quickly turned around and went down the mountain in the direction of siming mountaintop. Halfway through, I found that the road damaged by "Lichma" last year was still being repaired, and the road was closed, so I had to turn back.
Pass by the Siming Bridge again, and stop near the observation deck to watch the scenery and eat dry food. The Xuyan Waterfall on the opposite side of the valley, in the distance, is just a water belt, and the nearby mountains, or pink or white wild cherry blossoms, are very prominent among the pale green mountains. Sassafras tzumu of the Lauraceae has reached the end, and Litsea cubeba, another star of the Camphor family, is a bustling branch, just in time.
Suddenly see that there are signs on the side of the bridge, 1.5 kilometers to the Qixiakeng Ancient Road, to see the grass and trees there is also a good choice. But when I got to the mouth of the village, I was blocked back. On the side of the road, I patted some purple viola, carved leaf viola and yellow viola. This year, the weather is too warm, only in early March, the carved leaves and viola have already borne fruit.
Return to the main road again and circle down to the lake under the pavilion. See if there is still some time, park the car on the side of the road, and walk along a trail to Senjo Rock.
The mountains are empty and empty, in the valleys, the spring water roars, between the cliffs and cliffs, you can see rapid waterfalls, the money on the stones at the water's edge, and the verdant water that is moistened by the stream. Of course, the most spectacular is the Senjo rock waterfall, which is the first time to view the waterfall from the bottom up, even if it is separated by a valley, you can still feel the majesty of the waterfall.
The tip of the nose wafts through a sweet fragrance, which is the flowering of the alum family Symplocos sumuntia, green leaves, white flowers and yellow buds, beautiful and smelly.
The family Sabia japonica is an eye-catching landscape in the mountains in early spring, with small green flowers like new leaves, crawling full of dead trees, and if you don't pay attention, you think it is dead wood again in spring.
The Lindera reflexa of the genus Lycaenidae also blossomed, and their new leaves were playful and unexplored, like small rockets erected between the florets, ready to be launched.
Sinosenecio oldhamianus, a plant of the Asteraceae family that blooms in late spring, has expanded its golden yellow flowers. I have seen the fruits of the genus Maesa japonica in the purple cattle family, and the first time I see their flowers, they are also small altar-shaped.
At this moment in the mountains, in addition to the young leaves and flowers, there are also old fruits and new fruits. Elaeagnus pungens of the genus Elaeagnus pungens have a month to eat. Rhynchosia volubilis of the legume family, many of the black seeds are still hanging on the pods, waiting for the birds to send them far away.
Walking alone in the mountains, watching the mountains and water, watching the flowers and grass, free, time passes very quickly, watching the sun tilt to the west, I should also go back to continue to isolate.
