The "Dr. Seuss Universe" is coming! J· J. Abrams will be the executive producer

J· J. Abrams will be involved in the production of the "Dr. Seuss" trilogy

As a well-known children's book writer in the United States, Dr. Seuss can be described as a big figure who grew up with American children. A few days ago, there were media reports that three animated films based on Dr. Seuss's children's books were being prepared, and director J. J. Abrams and producer Hannah Mingla will be the producers of all three cartoons.

It is understood that the three films are adapted from Dr. Seuss's "Cat in a Top Hat", "First Thing and Second Thing" and "Oh, Where You're Going!" 》。 In response, Arison Abbott, Executive Vice President of Warner Animation, said: "Dr. Seuss has created a world that is far more important to us than to tell a separate story. It was also the first time we had the idea of making a series of films instead of a story. We're going to make a whole set of films to explore what's going to happen in the world. We will extend this theme and study deeper characters and stories. In this way of shooting, foreign media commented that Warner is working on building a "Dr. Seuss universe."

"The Cat with the Top Hat"

Dr. Seuss, whose real name is Theodore Seuss Geisel, was one of the most popular writers and illustrators of children's literature of the twentieth century. His magic is that he can tell an unexpected story in just over 200 words. Since the publication of his first book in 1937, he has created 48 picture books, sold 200 million copies, translated into 20 languages, and has been the winner of the children's best-seller list in the United States. Dr. Seuss has never been short of Dr. Seuss's name in the world's most important children's literature awards, including the Caldecott Prize, the highest honor for Fairy Tale Books in the United States, and the Pulitzer Prize for Special Contributions. He is a representative of the advanced productivity of contemporary children's books in the United States and is regarded as a landmark in American history. The entire process of promoting reading for contemporary children is related to him, including graded reading, bedtime stories and the tradition of parent-child reading, all of which originated from him.

At present, there are no specific shooting arrangements for these three films, as well as Warner's follow-up film plans.
