In order to effectively prevent and control the occurrence of forest fires and ensure the safety of people's lives and property and forest ecology, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the national "Forest Fire Prevention Regulations" and the "Hubei Provincial Forest Fire Prevention Regulations", the Municipal People's Government recently issued the "Forest Fire Martial Law Order".
The martial law decree stipulates: All state-owned forest farms, forest parks, nature reserves, scenic spots, collective forest farms and concentrated contiguous closed mountain forest areas in the city, and all forest trees and areas that may cause forest fires by units and individuals are forest fire prevention martial law areas. From November 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022, it is the city's forest fire martial law period.
During the period of forest fire prevention and martial law, strict control of wildland fire sources, promote civilized sacrifices, and strictly prohibit smoking, burning fires for heating, cooking, burning weeds on the edge of fields and fields, and burning mountains in production activities in fire prevention and martial law areas. Strict inspection of all personnel entering the mountain in the fire prevention and martial law area is strictly prohibited, and it is strictly forbidden to carry all kinds of fire up the mountain. Where a forest fire breaks out in a fire-prevention and martial law area, in addition to pursuing the legal responsibility of the perpetrators in accordance with law, administrative sanctions shall be given to the responsible leaders and personnel in accordance with law; where a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be pursued in accordance with law.
Forest fire prevention is everyone's responsibility, and preventing forest fires is the common responsibility of the whole society. The broad masses of citizens should consciously abide by the regulations on the safe use of fires, and when forest fires are discovered, they should immediately report to the local government or the forest fire prevention and extinguishing command organization, and it is strictly forbidden to make false reports or indiscriminate reports.
