From October 30th to 31st, Taitung officially launched the "2021 Chishang Autumn Harvest Rice Ear Art Festival", and the Cloud Gate Dance Collection was invited to the autumn harvest stage for the third time to perform the Cloud Gate dance "Thirteen Sounds" for the first time.
In the turbulent year of 2021, the autumn harvest has entered its 13th year, and what appears on the stage is also the work "Thirteen Voices" by Zheng Zonglong, the artistic director of Cloud Gate Dance Collection, which originates from the streets of Mengjia in the 60s and 70s, and returns Zheng Zonglong's insight into growth. In the play, the body shape of the street people, the elements of the temple and the traditional songs are translated by him as dance. Musician Lin Qiang blends old songs, incantations and roars, and weaves a deep meaning of exploring the source with the dancers, through going back to find the connection with the ancestors, finding the courage to face the future, and letting Wanhua's local customs jump onto the stage.
