Claude Monet (November 14, 1840 – December 5, 1926, Scorpio) was one of the most important Painters in France, one of the representatives and founders of Impressionism, and he popularized most of the theory and practice of Impressionism. Monet excelled in the experimentation and expression of light and shadow.

His most important style was to change the way shadows and contour lines were drawn, and in Monet's paintings there were no very clear shadows, nor were there any prominent or flat-painted contour lines. In addition, Monet's use of color is quite delicate, and he experiments with the perfect expression of color and light with many paintings of the same theme.

Monet has long explored the expressive effects of light and air, often at different times and under light, making multiple depictions of the same object, expressing the feeling of moments from the natural change of light and color.
