According to Sophia Miles, her 67-year-old father died of COVID-19. The 40-year-old Transformers actress posted the unfortunate news on Saturday via social networking sites, hours after she posted her last heartbreaking photo of herself visiting her father in hospital.
She wrote on the social networking site: "Rip Peter Miles. My dear dad died just a few hours ago. COVID-19 took his life." And just on Friday, she shared the last photo of her father lying in a hospital bed on social networking sites.
According to Sophia, her father suffers from Parkinson's disease, and recently she also told her fans through social networking sites that he had various health problems for a while.
Born in London on 18 March 1980, the British actress has played multiple roles in Transformers 4: Reborn, Tales of the Night 2: Evolution, Messengers of Hell, Thunderbirds, and From Hell.
