Speaking of the past 2020, Chen Zhen, president of the Central and Eastern European Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, felt that "change" was "change": "The unexpected epidemic has changed the pattern and order of the world, the rhythm of everyone's life has been disrupted, and every day is responding to new situations. But as a Chinese medicine physician, Chen Zhen's work in the past year has not changed, that is, using traditional Chinese medicine to treat patients.
Chinese medicine embodies thousands of years of oriental wisdom and has also played a positive role in the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic. Overseas, due to practical obstacles such as language barriers and unfamiliar procedures for going to local hospitals, Chinese medicine has become an important reliance on compatriots to prevent and fight the epidemic. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Chen Zhen and his team have been fighting in the frontline of the fight against the epidemic, bringing peace to many patients.
At the beginning of March last year, when the epidemic first broke out in Europe, Chen Zhen learned from the ancient side and China's anti-epidemic experience, boiled the soup medicine to enhance immunity in a large pot and distributed it to the public for free. After the spread of the epidemic, many local clinics closed their doors to avoid the epidemic, but chen Zhen's Qihuang Traditional Chinese Medicine Center in Hungary has never been closed. In order to serve more patients, the center has also opened an online diagnosis and treatment service, which is dialectically treated according to the condition and relieves the anxiety and stress of patients through psychological counseling.
"The risk is high as the pandemic spreads. But no matter how dangerous it is, we can't close the door. If the patient can't find a doctor, everyone will panic. Chen Zhen said that since the outbreak of the epidemic, he has been busy with medical visits, research and development of drugs, etc., and has never taken a day off, and the patients who have made an appointment for him to see him have been scheduled until April.
At present, a lot of Chen Zhen's energy is focused on the new crown recovery. Although these patients have turned negative from nucleic acid testing, their bodies have not yet fully recovered. "I hope that with the help of the power of traditional Chinese medicine, patients can recover better and relieve their worries."
The Hungarian Oriental Sinopharm Group, founded by Chen Zhen, is the only natural medicine pharmaceutical factory in Europe that meets EU standards. During the pandemic, in order to meet the surge in demand for medication, pharmaceutical factory workers often start working at 6 a.m. Thousands of Chinese medicine parcels sent from here have been brought to many compatriots and local people.
Chinese medicine is also gaining more and more trust in the local area. Chen Zhen said that more local patients are now consulted at the Qihuang Traditional Chinese Medicine Center in Hungary than Chinese compatriots. "Chinese medicine has a good popular base in Hungary, which stems from the excellent curative effect of Chinese medicine, and it is inseparable from generations of Chinese medicine practitioners who take root in the local area and promote it day after day."
"The saplings we have cultivated for more than 30 years are now bearing fruit." Living in Hungary for more than 30 years, Chen Zhen actively promotes traditional Chinese medicine to the local community. He insisted on publishing articles in the local media about TCM, publishing books on TCM, translating related terms into English and Hungarian, and holding large-scale free clinics every year. Thanks to his and his colleagues' efforts, Hungary became the first country in Europe to legislate for traditional Chinese medicine.
After the outbreak of the epidemic, he translated China's well-established TCM diagnosis and treatment plan into Hungarian and exchanged TCM anti-epidemic experience with government departments. He also wrote articles introducing TCM and health care through local media to provide advice on epidemic prevention for the public.
"I hope that the epidemic will end as soon as possible and return to the original life." When it comes to the planning for 2021, Chen Zhen hopes to calm down and do more research, so that the new crown recovered people can get rid of physical troubles and bring more people hope for health. (End)
