In the morning, 2,200 triathlon athletes jumped into the Li River from the floating platform of Longtoushan Wharf, kicking off the prelude to the 2021 Yangshuo Triathlon and "Run Guangxi" Ecological Series (Guilin Yangshuo Station) on the new journey of forever following the party and striving for progress.
This year, yangshuo triathlon events joined the "Run Bar Guangxi" ecological series for the first time to expand the influence of the event, improve the popularity of the series of events, and jointly create Guangxi sports boutique events.
Yangshuo Triathlon has been held for the fifth consecutive time, and triathlon has gradually become the city card of Yangshuo, with the highest number of participants in five years, reaching 2200 people. Among them, there are 1,000 people in the half-distance large iron group and 1,200 people in the standard iron group. The event attracted a total of "iron friends" from Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou and other parts of the country to participate, among these players are the "old iron" who has many years of experience in participating, and there are also "green iron" who participates in the third iron for the first time. Among them, Miao Hao, Liang Shengyuan, Jin Yan, Qu Ying and other domestic iron three elite players also gathered in "Drunken Beauty" Yangshuo to stage a shocking "iron fighting" battle for everyone, interpreting the "iron man spirit" that is not afraid of challenges and does not give up.
The whole course of this year's Triathlon Race still covers the most classic landscape and water beauty of Yangshuo, the swimming track is the essence of the Li River, the cycling track is the essence of the Guangxi Cycling Tour, and the running track passes through the Shili Gallery, Totem Trail, Yulong River, Butterfly Spring, Moon Mountain and other famous scenic spots along the way, condensing the essence of Yangshuo's landscape.
Despite the continuous rain, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of the players. After fierce competition, in the end, Chen Keyu from Hunan won the men's standard iron group championship, CONDE won the women's standard iron group championship, Beijing's Miao Hao won the men's half-distance big rail group, and Jilin's Xu Ying won the women's half-distance big iron group. After the competition, Shen Weihu, member of the Standing Committee of the Guilin Municipal Party Committee and vice mayor, Zhou Yan, Huang Xiaoxue, Chen Qingwu, Zeng Jiegang, Qin Taiping, Wei Pujian and Peng Ying, leaders of Yangshuo County, presented awards to the winners respectively. The winners opened champagne to celebrate and witness moments of glory.
