In Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: The Hero's Quest, Marvel brings a brand new Aunt May to viewers.
The sexy and beautiful Aunt May, played by The Oscar-winning Best Supporting Actress Marissa Tomei, was loved by the audience after the film's release.

However, in a recent interview with Collider, Marissa said she regretted playing the role of "Mommy."
"I really regret having opened such a path, I really regret it. I was, you know, I was persuaded to play this kind of role—not the character (referring to the character in Staten Island), but the change in that role. I felt, 'Oh my God, I can actually play a lot of roles.' ’”
"I think every actor, male or female, has many faces, and if the scope of script writing is narrow and you want to continue working, you can only do it to the best of your ability."
"That's what I did, I tried, it's probably not the right path, but I've done my best to do it."
So Marissa actually hopes that she can play more different kinds of roles, rather than just playing the role of "mother", so she somewhat regrets playing Aunt Mei in "Spider-Man".
