But now, under the background of the rural revitalization strategy bringing a new round of development opportunities to the countryside, a 550-acre guava planting base in Guanghui Village, Zengjiang Street, is gradually attracting people's attention with a "blue out of blue" posture. This agricultural project, which was born out of Shixia Qunxing Fruit Professional Cooperative, with its long-term accumulated planting experience and brand influence, will explore the establishment of an agricultural modernization development model of "agriculture + tourism" in Guanghui Village, Zengjiang Street, with the new concept of "Beautiful Pastoral Complex", and thus drive the revitalization and development of Guanghui Village. The creation of the "Beautiful Pastoral Complex" in Guanghui Village has also become a true portrayal of Zengcheng's vigorous implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.

There are 284 administrative villages in Zengcheng, the rural area accounts for about 87% of the whole district, and the rural population accounts for about 42% of the registered population of the whole district. Whether agriculture is strong or not, whether the countryside is beautiful or not, and whether the peasants are rich or not determines the process of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and speeding up the construction of socialist modernization. The technology of large-scale cultivation of guava is mature

The guava planting base in Guanghui Village is invested and constructed by Guangzhou Chuangxian Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. Liu Shufen, the general manager of the company, is also the current head of the Shixia Qunxing Fruit Professional Cooperative. It is reported that Liu Shufen's mother, Wu Shuiqun, was one of the earliest farmers in Shixia Village to grow guava. Previously, due to the scattered planting of farmers, the quality of fruits was poor, and the economic benefits were not obvious. In June 2010, Wu Shuiqun organized 105 members of the town to establish the Guangzhou Zengcheng Minhe Shixia Qunxing Fruit Professional Cooperative.

After the establishment of the cooperative, through the integration of land resources, the hiring of professional and technical personnel to train growers, the implementation of standardized planting, and cooperation with the local agricultural department to strengthen the quality and safety monitoring of agricultural product production, etc., the large-scale planting of guava has been realized, and the quality of guava has been greatly improved. Gradually, Shixia Village became a well-known "Guava Village". A total of about 800 farmers in the village make a living by planting guava, which covers an area of more than 7,000 mu, and guava varieties such as carmine, white fragrant fruit, four seasons, pearl bale and so on are well known.

Create an "Internet + agriculture" sales model

The mature guava cultivation experience has given the new generation of "helmsman" Liu Shufen full confidence and new development inspiration. Liu Shufen began to be dissatisfied with the sales model of supplying local farmers' markets, and instead aimed at the Pearl River Delta market.

Through the cooperative platform, Liu Shufen successfully registered the "Shixia" guava trademark, opening up market sales channels with the development strategy of agricultural branding. Soon, many foreign merchants and large supermarkets came to seek to establish cooperative relations. In 2013, Liu Shufen officially registered and founded Guangzhou Chuangxian Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., through the way of "company + base + farmer", to achieve the "one-stop" operation and management of planting and sales of guava and other agricultural products. "At present, our guava has been sold to shopping malls and supermarkets in Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen and even Hong Kong." Liu Shufen said.

With the rise of e-commerce platforms, Liu Shufen once again took advantage of the momentum and hitched a ride on the east wind of "Internet + agriculture". At present, the company has reached cooperation with online shopping e-commerce platforms such as SF Preferred and Tmall Supermarket, and has become a supplier of fruits such as Zengcheng lychee and Zengcheng guava. At the same time, the company also created its own online sales platform "Chuangxian Mall", which sells Zengcheng fruits throughout the country. At present, the average daily sales volume of the entire company can reach up to 150,000 catties.

Planning and construction of "Beautiful Pastoral Complex"

"As a native farmer entrepreneur, I love the countryside, take root in the countryside, and love agriculture, and I am full of hope for the current rural revitalization strategy. I believe that through the deep integration of agriculture and rural leisure tourism, education, culture and other industries, the added value of agricultural products will be further enhanced and farmers will become rich. Liu Shufen told reporters.

Out of confidence in rural development, in the second half of 2017, Liu Shufen leased 550 mu of land in Guanghui Village, Zengjiang Street, planning to build a new concept of "beautiful pastoral complex". "The 'Pastoral Complex' as a highlight measure for the development of new rural industries was written into the 2017 Central Document No. 1. This is a comprehensive development model of characteristic towns and villages integrating modern agriculture, leisure tourism and pastoral communities, and is a sustainable model for realizing China's rural modernization, new urbanization and comprehensive social and economic development. The reporter walked into the guava planting base in Guanghui Village and saw that after half a year of planting and cultivation, the eight varieties of guava seedlings were growing well, and many of them had begun to bear fruit. In the field, planters are busy pruning the branches and leaves. "Now the seedlings are relatively small, we don't want this batch of fruit, wait for the seedlings to grow for half a year, then you can start to produce fruit in batches." Worker Aunt Deng said.

Liu Shufen told reporters that next, the base will further improve the construction of leisure facilities such as field roads, bamboo corridors and rattans, bicycle stations, fun greenways, etc., and through the creation of theme landscapes such as large windmills and ferris wheels, as well as the construction of cultural and leisure attractions such as the sea of flowers, guava culture expo hall, and open youth literary and artistic performance center, to achieve the unity of beautiful villages, beautiful pastoral gardens and delicious agricultural products, and strive to create a model of "beautiful pastoral complex" in Zengcheng. "When the time comes, tourists can come to sightseeing, can also go to the field to pick, and even participate in the DIY of deep-processed products such as guava tea and guava wine." Zengcheng: The three-year action of the rural revitalization strategy will be implemented as a whole

As the person in charge of a leading agricultural enterprise, Liu Shufen has always paid great attention to the problem of increasing peasants' income and getting rich. At the Guangdong Provincial Precision Poverty Alleviation Summit Forum and the 2017 China Guangdong "Agricultural Electricity Award" Award Ceremony held on January 20, Liu Shufen was awarded the "Outstanding E-commerce Rich Leader" and signed the "Thousand Enterprises Helping Thousand Villages" agreement with Guanghui Village on Zengjiang Street on behalf of Guangzhou Chuangxian Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. Liu Shufen's expectations coincide with the zengcheng district party committee and district government's idea of implementing rural revitalization and development.
