Man not only wants to be happy, but he also wants to be happy forever, just as man wants to be beautiful and can always be beautiful and youthful. This is a vision of the eternity of value, which originates from the pursuit of people's hearts, so from ancient times to the present, the ideal is immortal. But human suffering is also penetrating into this ideal, and forgetting the existence of reality has its own limitations, and as a result, the deeper the hope and the deeper the attachment, the deeper the pain.

Attachment and emotional hurt

The world is born and dies, and life is born, old, sick and dead. Su Dongpo's "Water Tune Song Head" lyrics: "People have sorrows and joys, and the moon has clouds and sunshine," just as Cui Hu's experience goes: "Last year, in this door today, the faces of peach blossoms were red; the faces of people did not know where to go, and the peach blossoms still smiled and spring breeze." Even if you have affection, but the personnel is in a hurry, after missing it, can you meet again? There is only infinite regret. People often have attachments and attachments to certain feelings, a certain character, and a certain situation, although things have changed, but the efforts of the day and the investment of the day have left an unforgettable mark in the heart. The so-called "things are people, not things, and tears flow first" (Li Qingzhao's words); if due to changes in the environment, "emotions move with events" (Wang Xi's "Orchid Pavilion Sequence"). Even if he is as open as Li Bai, he also sings "Draw a knife to cut off the water and the water flows more, raise a glass to dispel the sorrow and worry more", as for the wounded Lord Li Hou, it is even more "ask the king how many sorrows, just like a river of spring water flowing east".

Emotional attachment will lead to emotional injuries, so many people run away from love, feel that feelings are a burden, dare not invest, afraid of being hurt, and prefer to be alone and live the rest of their lives. Even if the heavens take care of you, the sea of people is vast, and finally meet you and become a Mandarin duck lover, but life is impermanent, the life expectancy is limited, as Buddhism says, "love parting", "can not be sought", there is always a first to leave, helpless. Gao Yang wrote the "Biography of Cao Xueqin", mentioning that there was a magician who divination for others at that time, and the ancestors were charged with the army for several generations, and they suffered a lot of hardships and were afraid of involving people, so they handled their feelings very carefully. Later, this warlock met a woman, this woman liked him very much, but he did not dare to accept, and later met Cao Xueqin and confided in his experience. After hearing this, Cao sighed and said, "A word of love is often tiring for a lifetime."

"Righteousness" is the extension and burden of love

Love, it will be tiring, because after the investment is difficult to extricate themselves, caution is not cautious. Some people think that it is lighter, the so-called gentleman's friendship is as light as water, and it is easier to withdraw if necessary. But there are so many emotions and few, it is difficult to have a scale, a person is good to themselves, when we accept each other's feelings, it is not easy to grasp the middle measure. How much is the right amount to accept? Rejecting a point may represent a point of harm, but accepting a point also means promising a point, how should it be returned in the future? Or, whether it can be returned is difficult to say, and if the love is paid, it cannot be recovered, nor can it be compensated, but can only be owed forever.

However, modern people may not have such introspection, on the contrary, it may be greed and fascination: since someone pays for themselves, of course, the more they get, the happier they are, and they will fall to the level of psychological instincts, not only do not understand feelings, but also hurt feelings. We must understand that others are willing to pay for themselves, can not only be regarded as a kind of luck, luck is only a kind of chance encounter, with affection as a chance encounter, it is too light. It is important to know that emotion is not only love, but there is also a deeper "righteousness"; what is "righteousness"? I believe that "righteousness" is an extension and responsibility of love, and it is also the inevitable end of love. Man knows that it is beautiful, and hopes that this beauty can last forever, but he must be good at protecting it, so that he will not be harmed and lose his original beauty, which must be guarded by "righteousness". Guarding is not only a responsibility, but also a cherishing mood and action. So on the one hand, it is an extension of love, so that love never fades; on the other hand, action. Action is important, it allows emotions to be witnessed and fulfilled, not illusory language.

Because there is action, the world of love is real, but action must have courage, loyalty to your feelings, loyalty to your pursuits, and more loyalty to your commitment, which can be transformed into "righteousness" and make emotions even higher. This peak, on the one hand, leads to man's moral cultivation, because only those who have cultivated know righteousness; on the other hand, they are based on deeper feelings.

The deeper the emotion, the more incomprehensible it becomes

However, the love is deep, and sometimes it is incomprehensible.

For example, in "The New Language of the World", it is said that Wang Rong lost his son and was overwhelmed with sorrow. Others comforted him, saying, "Why is this the thing in the child's arms?" He said, "The saints are unsentimental, and they are the least affectionate; and the place of love is in my generation." The saints of gai Daoists can use reason to dissolve people's feelings; as for the foolish people, they are ignorant and understand, and they cannot yet appreciate feelings, and only the people of my generation are superficially deficient than the top, more than the bottom, in essence, it is a sentient life that can appreciate rich feelings; it is also a life with action that can throw itself into the ideal world; have the courage to bear, do not suppress, and can reach the state of the ultimate situation. Therefore, when the son dies, he should be sad and sad, and he should cry loudly, so why hide it?

The "New Language of the World" also records that Xun Yu's son was named Xun Yue, who was very well educated, and all the people who came and went were famous scholars at that time. He bluntly recognized women as "inept in their intellect, and they should be dominated by color". Later, he married the daughter of the general Cao Hong, and the two couples had a good relationship. One winter, his wife fell ill with fever, and Xun Cang appeared in court to let the cold wind blow his body and returned to the bed to cool his wife. After his wife died, he was very sad, and his friend Fu Gao advised him that if he only asked for beautiful women when he married his wife, there were many in the world, so why should he be so sad? Xun Cang sighed and said, "It's hard to get a beautiful person again." He died a year later, at the age of twenty-nine. Does this story show that Xun Cang is superficial and lustful? It is said that his remarks at that time were also "ridiculed in the world", but if he could be martyred, he was not only a good face, but cherished the rare beauty of the other party, and it was not easy to have this beauty, and then he had feelings for the other party, and became the only object of his affection. In the end, the depth of love has reached the state of absolutes, and no one can replace it. Therefore, the departure of the other party seems to cut off their own lives and have no value for survival. The emotions are deep and cannot be stopped, as if plunged into an endless void until your life is drained and life is withered and dyed.

There is also a story in the "New Language of the World", that is, Zhi Daolin and his fellow companion Fa Qian studied Buddhism together, pushed each other, and got very well with each other, and later when Fa Qian died, Zhi Daolin was greatly shocked, saying that in the future, even if the righteousness and reason were advanced, he would "speak beyond appreciation", and his heart was depressed, and he realized that he would soon die. A year later, Zhi Daolin also died.

The deeper the emotion, the more incomprehensible it becomes. Love is like that, and so is friendship; and further on, so is love for the nation. The country is dying, so why are there martyrs? Culture is dying, so why would anyone rise up and turn the tide? The first thought of compassion will come forward, and the thought of mercy will also give up oneself for righteousness. As listed in Wen Tianxiang's "Song of Righteous Qi", "the poor festivals of the times are seen, and one by one they are green". A person can be faithful to his choice (the meaning of the word "choice" must be deeply understood, otherwise it is too light as the average person calls "make a choice"), and even life and death are not simple. The depths of love are actually where the value of your entire life lies: for a loyal lover? A martyr who sacrificed his life for righteousness? As a chivalrous guest who goes to the soup? Or the ideal guardian? In short, in the end, it is bound to transcend life and death, that is, life and death are light, and the solemnity of love is great; if people really have feelings, they will ultimately bear witness to this.
