In the later years of Kangxi, the princes participated in the dispute over the concubine, the history is called "the nine kings to seize the concubine" or "the nine sons to seize the concubine", people who have seen the "Yongzheng Dynasty" know this historical event, but there are still many people who do not know which "nine kings" it is, and yushi will talk about this topic.

Since ancient times, the throne has always been full of temptations for the princes and nobles, who have always racked their brains to find all kinds of opportunities to become princes or ascend to the throne in one fell swoop, even at the expense of flesh and blood.
In the forty-seventh year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1708), the crown prince Yin Rong was deposed for the first time, and all the adult princes of Kangxi began to take the idea of the crown prince. To this end, they have adopted various political means and formed four major political interest groups.
Specifically, those involved in the "Nine Sons and Sisters" are: The Eldest Brother Yinzhen, the Second Brother Yinzhen, the Third Brother Yinzhen, the Fourth Brother Yinchen, the Eighth Brother Yinchen, the Ninth Brother Yinzhen, the Tenth Brother Yinzhen, the Thirteenth Brother Yunxiang, and the Fourteenth Brother Yinchen.
These nine brothers formed four groups in total, namely the "Great Chitose Party" headed by the eldest brother, the "princeling party" of the second brother, the "four masters party" of the fourth brother, and the "eight masters party" headed by the eighth brother.
After the abolition of the prince, the action of the "Great Chitose Party" was the most obvious. Headed by Yin Zhen, the eldest son of emperor Ōchitose, the main member is Yin Zhen's uncle and university scholar Mingzhu. In order to compete for the reserve position, the members of the Great Chitose Party group can be described as painstaking.
Since Yin Zhen was the eldest son of the Kangxi Emperor, they first started by striving for the establishment of the chief, believing that kangxi was bound to become a long man if he could not succeed. In addition, Yin Zhen had a lot of prestige in the army because he had followed Kangxi in the campaign to pacify Gardan, and he firmly believed that among the many brothers, only he had the greatest chance of winning.
However, Kangxi was not optimistic about Yin, believing that he had a reckless personality. In addition, after the abolition of the crown prince, Yin Zhen also asked his father to kill Yin Rong, accusing him of lily and making Zhi Faint, and saying: "If you want to punish Yin Rong now, you don't have to come from the hands of the emperor' father." It was this move that made Kangxi see Yin Zhen's ambitions and accused him of not understanding the righteousness of the monarch, not remembering the love of father and son, and the laws of heaven and the country.
Therefore, Kangxi, while announcing the imprisonment of Yin Rong, clearly declared: "Before the death of the Emperor Yin, the king of Zhi Commandery, Yin Zhen was good at protecting Yin, and did not intend to make Yin Zhen the crown prince. This basically cut off Yin Yu's thoughts.
Seeing that he had no hope of standing up, Yin Yu pinned his hopes on Yin Yu, who was close to him, saying that The Xiangshi Zhang Mingde had said that Yin Yu would be very rich in the future. Unexpectedly, this move provoked Kangxi to be angry, and zhang Mingde was immediately severely punished. Later, Yin Zhen cursed Yin Rong with witchcraft, and although Kangxi was furious, he could not bear to kill his own son in the end, and revoked his title and title, and imprisoned him for life.
The princelings were henchmen led by Yin Rong, who tried his best to make a comeback after he was first deposed, and after the restoration, he tried to usurp the imperial power of Kangxi as soon as possible, and finally was deposed again, ending up in a lifetime of captivity.
The Three Brothers like to dance and ink, surrounded by literati, and have not formed any obvious party tendencies at all. Therefore, the ambition and action of trying to become a crown prince is much smaller than that of other princes. Coupled with seeing the fate of Yin Zhen and Yin Rong, he did not dare to participate in the seizure of the concubine too openly.
The Four Masters Party, headed by the Four Brothers Yin Chan, was originally a princeling before Yin Rong was deposed, and was not enthusiastic about the throne. I just want to assist the good prince and do my best as a subject. It was not until Yin Rong was deposed that he realized the urgency of his own interests and joined the open struggle to seize the wife.
In terms of strength, the Fourth Master Party is still quite strong. Militarily, there is the support of Nian Tangyao, the assistance of Longkeduo in the court, the response of the military master Dai Duo in the locality, and the most important thing is the strong support of the thirteen brothers.
However, Yin Chan's road to winning the wife was not so ostentatious, but was carried out in a low-key and stable manner. It was precisely because of this that he did not make the Kangxi Emperor angry with him.
The rest is the Eight Masters Party, led by the Eight Brothers. The Eight Ye Party is the strongest of all the friends, and its core members also include the Nine Brothers, the Ten Brothers, and the Fourteen Brothers.
Due to the humble birth of his mother's family, Yin Yu developed a hard-working, studious, kind and easy-going personality from an early age, and people called him "The Eight Sages King" at the time. Yin Yu was shrewd and capable, and he had great prestige in the DPRK. After the abolition of the crown prince, Kangxi ordered the hundred officials to recommend a new crown prince candidate, and as a result, all the courtiers elected Yin Yu, which made Kangxi deeply uneasy and caused him to be wary of Yin Yu.
Later, Yin Yu was attacked several times by Kangxi, but nevertheless, Yin Yu still had high prestige in the court and was the most reputable prince among the ministers. However, it was never used by Kangxi.
The Nine Kings' Conquest of Concubines made the Kangxi Emperor suffer in his later years, and he deeply felt that it was not easy to openly establish a reserve, nor was it a wise move. After all, there are many princes and only one throne, and the establishment of the crown prince will inevitably provoke you and me to fight among the brothers. Therefore, since the second deposed prince, Kangxi did not intend to make another prince, and decided to make another announcement to the world at the time of his death.
