China Quality News Network News On September 16, the website of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Market Supervision and Administration Bureau released the Mid-Autumn Festival Food Safety Supervision and Sampling Information Notice (No. 33 of 2021) No. 86. The notice said that recently, the bureau organized sampling inspection of 817 batches of samples of 19 types of food such as condiments, meat products, dairy products, beverages, convenience foods, and grain processing products. Among them, 3 batches of convenience foods were detected to be unqualified.

For the unqualified food found in the sampling inspection, the Autonomous Region Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has instructed the relevant local (state, municipal) market supervision departments to immediately organize and carry out disposal work, find out the flow of products, and take measures such as removing and recalling unqualified products from the shelves to control risks; strictly deal with violations of laws and regulations in accordance with law; and promptly announce risk prevention and control measures and verification and disposal to the public.
