It is said that drinking yogurt is conducive to health, because yogurt products need to be fermented with "milk + fermentation bacteria", it is not easy to produce lactose intolerance after drinking, nutrients are more easily digested and absorbed by the human gastrointestinal tract, and yogurt containing active probiotics can adjust the balance of intestinal flora, so it is favored by the majority of consumers. However, there are many yogurt products on the market, and there are many categories, are you sure you are drinking "real" yogurt?

1 Look at the product name - yogurt, fermented milk, etc

If the trade name is "yogurt", "flavored yogurt", "fermented milk", "flavored fermented milk" and other names, it generally refers to products made from fermentation with raw cattle (sheep) milk or milk powder as raw materials, and if it is "sour milk", "lactic acid bacteria drink", "yogurt drink", etc., it is often not real yogurt.

3 Look at the ingredient list - the first place is milk

The first place in the yogurt ingredient list should be milk.

If the first place in the ingredient list is not milk but water or other, most of such products are not real yogurt but yogurt drinks or lactic acid bacteria drinks, except for yogurt made of restored milk as ingredients (restored milk needs to be reduced with water, and the first two must be water and milk powder).

1 The best time to drink yogurt is 2 hours after meals, because the PH value of gastric juice rises after meals, this environment is very suitable for the growth of lactic acid bacteria, which can give full play to the nutrition of yogurt.

2 do not drink yogurt on an empty stomach, the PH value suitable for the growth of lactic acid bacteria is less than 5.4, and the PH value of human gastric juice acidity is below 2 when fasting, and lactic acid bacteria are easily killed by stomach acid, and the nutritional value will be greatly reduced.

3 When purchasing, carefully look at the content of protein, carbohydrates and sugar in the nutrition facts list. Choose products with high protein content, and give priority to products with low carbohydrate (sugar) content under the premise of ensuring that the protein content is high enough.
