Zhang Xun, born in December 1953, is the chief physician of the Department of Thoracic Surgery of Chest Hospital and doctoral supervisor. Good at all kinds of difficult surgery in thoracic surgery, in recent years, he has actively carried out thoracoscopic minimally invasive thoracic surgery, and has pioneered the international first thoracoscopic surgery for the treatment of giant pharyngeal diverticulum surgery, turning the treatment of this rare disease that is difficult to treat into safe, minimally invasive and effective surgical treatment, which is reported in authoritative academic journals at home and abroad, known as "Zhang's surgery". In 2010, he was rated as an advanced worker in the national health system by the Ministry of Health. He has published more than 130 papers in academic journals at home and abroad. In 2016, 2017 and 2018, he entered the China Highly Cited Scholar released by Elsevier for three consecutive years, and has won 9 provincial and municipal scientific research achievements.
