Crystal Palace stunned Manchester City on Saturday afternoon, with goals from Wilfrid Zaha and Kona Gallach giving Crystal Palace a 2-0 win at Etihad Stadium.
Patrick Vieira's players made a great start, breaking through in six minutes. Gallach snatched the ball from the sleepy Emerick Laporte and then passed through Zaha, who had just managed to slip the ball past Edson.
Laporte's afternoon deteriorated badly in first-half stoppage time. Zaha rolled his players before preparing to pounce on the goal, but the Spaniard grabbed the striker's shirt before knocking him down in a blatant manner. After a quick and decisive VAR check, Laporte was identified as the last man and quickly got off the field early to take a shower.
Although both goals were pulled back for offside, they scored two goals in an hour or so. Zaha believes he had doubled Crystal Palace's lead before Gabriel Jesus saw his efforts come to an end. Salah's final goal will give Crystal Palace a 2-0 win. After starting and ending a fluid counter-attack, the 21-year-old calmly and firmly knocked michael Olis's shot back before celebrating with the accompanying team.
