The border city written by Teacher Shen Congwen is my hometown, a beautiful and quiet small town. It is located at the junction of Chongqing (which belonged to Sichuan Province before becoming a municipality directly under the central government), Guizhou Province, Hunan Province and three provinces, and is known as a foot across three provinces.
In junior high school, I would meet with my classmates every Sunday in the border city, take a free Laladu (free ride before it was developed into a scenic spot), and a grandfather slowly walked on the river with a simple wooden stick and a rope. Admire the scenery on both sides of the river from the boat. Surrounded by green mountains, the river is clear, listening to the sound of the water flowing gently blowing across the cheeks, the fragrance of nature comes to the nose, and the whole person is immersed in this beautiful scenery.
There are special buildings here, the atmosphere of the ancient town is strong, you can wear the costumes of ethnic minorities to take beautiful photos. There are delicious rice tofu, oily rice dumplings, mung bean powder, lamb powder, and fried peppers. Good to eat and fun. The folk customs are simple and hospitable, and the small township also has its unique charm.
Every year during the Dragon Boat Festival, we hold a grand dragon boat catching competition, and fathers and villagers in nearby townships will gather here to watch the game and cheer up the teams they support. The scene is full of laughter and laughter, and it is very lively, and it is difficult not to fall in love with this place.
The most famous border city is "Cuicui Island", formerly known as "SanwuDao Island", because it is located at the junction of the three provinces, and the island was desolate and no one cared about it before, so it was called "SanwuDao Island" by the locals. The island is carved with a stone statue of Cuicui, and a small dog snuggles up next to her to guard Cuicui. One man and one dog seemed to be waiting for something there. A ferry ticket is required to get to the island.
With its pyrotechnic atmosphere and no hustle and bustle of a big city, it is a great place to relax and meditate.
