Changyang Tujia Autonomous County in Hubei Province is located in the eastern extension of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with undulating mountains and ravines. The "Chronicle of Changyang County" records that from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, the land transportation in the county was mainly manpower, shoulder to shoulder, and the labor intensity was extremely high. After the founding of New China, the Changyang County government built the first highway. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the construction of Changyang Highway accelerated its development, and by 1985, more than 1,500 kilometers of various highways had been built in the county, but "difficulty in walking" was still the most prominent problem here.
In June 2021, Shuilian Village, Ziqiu Town, Changyang County, is a village road connecting more than 20 households, with a total of more than 20 turns and a vertical height of nearly 300 meters.
Since the poverty alleviation, the Changyang Autonomous County Party Committee and the county government have insisted on traffic first, invested 3 billion yuan, and focused on promoting a number of important highway construction related to the economic and social development of Changyang. With the continuous improvement of the road safety index, the county's poverty alleviation industries such as vegetables, citrus, tea, papaya, and medicinal materials have developed and grown, benefiting nearly 30,000 poor households. In February 2021, the National Poverty Alleviation Summary and Commendation Conference was held in Beijing, and the Changyang County Transportation Bureau was awarded the National Advanced Collective for Poverty Alleviation.

Take the road as a "bridge", and the graben changes the way. In January 2021, the Changyang Qingjiang Special Bridge was closed, and the two sides of the Qingjiang River were about to shake hands for the first time. Before the Spring Festival in 2021, the Yichang Expressway connecting Changyang and Yichang Urban Areas was basically completed, and Changyang was integrated into yichang's "half-hour economic circle". By the end of 2020, more than 150 administrative villages in Changyang will realize village-to-village buses, and at the same time establish a three-level logistics system of counties, townships and villages, and 11 township-level rural e-commerce logistics service stations will achieve full coverage of outlets. These rural logistics sites sell the agricultural and sideline products produced by farmers in all directions through the trunk line transportation and line cruises of e-commerce, logistics and express delivery platforms, and distribute the daily production materials needed by farmers to their homes.
In September 2020, in Gaojiayan Village, Gaojiayan Town, Changyang County, villagers directed the loading of the car to Yong Yong and Deng Yuntao. The bonsai golden marbles that are being hoisted sold for 10,000 yuan, and the Luo Han song, which has been loaded, sold for 20,000 yuan.
In July 2021, in Longzhouping Town, Changyang County, buses opened to reach the Banqiaopu resettlement site. This is a newly built resettlement area for Qingjiang immigrants, with a total of 350 households and 1500 people from the reservoir area from the county.
In March 2021, in The town of Luoping, Changyang County, Niu Lanzhou, the person in charge of the construction of the Huazi Line upgrading and upgrading project, commanded the dangerous section of Sunjiazhai. The project has a total of more than 14 kilometers, the largest slope is 150 meters high, and the excavation volume is more than 30,000 cubic meters, which is very difficult to construct.
With the road as the "bridge", the green mountains become golden mountains. From the Qingjiang River Valley at an altitude of tens of meters to the mountains at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters, the road network system and field operation road promote the formation of seven major planting systems. "Qingjiang Lime" and other citrus planting area of 125,000 mu, with an annual output of 80,000 tons; "Changyang Tea" planting area of 155,000 mu, tea farmers' total income of 320 million yuan; "Changyang Konjac" planting area of 50,000 mu, taro farmers' total income of 280 million yuan; "Ziqiu Papaya" planting area of 87,000 mu, output value of 500 million yuan; "Jinfu Red Garden" built base of 60,000 mu, the total income of fruit farmers 30 million yuan; "Gaojiayan Root Art" development nursery of more than 5,000 mu, the annual production and sales of root art bonsai 1.5 million pots, Sales income of more than 1.5 billion yuan; alpine vegetables annual planting area of 500,000 mu, vegetable output value of 2 billion yuan.
In July 2021, in Liuxi Village, Gaojiayan Town, Changyang County, Ren Dejin and Wang Guocui broke corn in the promenade of the farmhouse. Next to the promenade is the newly opened "Four Good" rural road, which connects Liuxi Village with Xiangriling Village, prompting nearby villagers to develop 40 farms.
Take the road as the "bridge", and the countryside becomes a gallery. In 2019, the 19-kilometer "Beautiful Yi Road" Fangqing Road was completed. Taking this road as a link, the county and township comprehensively promote the construction of supporting facilities and water ecological treatment along the road, and build 298 ornamental flower beds and 4 beautiful stations, forming a landscape where the road is integrated into the green, the pedestrians are in the scenery, and the road scenery is integrated. Along the line, rural tourist attractions such as Zhengjiabang Village Tujia Cottage, Dipo Village Xiaoqin Village, Houfengxi Village Rock House, and Xieguping Village Butterfly Valley have risen rapidly.
With the road as the "bridge", the rural revitalization of Changyang Tujia Autonomous County in Hubei Province has achieved initial results.
