That night, the above-mentioned four people drove to the Muma Lake Drainage and Irrigation Station in Jiepai Town, Tianchang City, and stole 2 compensators, 4.5 kilograms of copper core wire, and the value was identified as 758 yuan. On August 10, 2021, defendant Zhang was arrested and brought to justice, truthfully confessed his criminal facts, and actively compensated the victim's economic losses, and obtained forgiveness.

At trial, the court held that defendant Zhang Mou, for the purpose of illegal possession, jointly and secretly stole other people's property, the amount was relatively large, and his conduct had constituted the crime of theft, and the public prosecution organ was convicted of the crime. After Zhang Mou was arrested, he could truthfully confess his crime and could be given a lenient punishment in accordance with law; he could be given a lenient treatment if he voluntarily admitted guilt and accepted punishment; he actively compensated the victim's losses, obtained forgiveness, and gave a lenient punishment as appropriate.
