Nanchong singer Hou Jiao plays Huang Jiguang's comrade-in-arms Wu Sanyang in the play. Hou Jiao, born in 1981, currently works at the Nanchong City Cultural Center, is a national second-class actor, and the vice chairman of the Nanchong Musicians Association. Over the years, he has won the Gold Medal of the 8th Golden Bell Award for Chinese Music in the Northeast Sichuan Division, the Gold Medal of the First Southwest Folk Song Competition of Sichuan Province, the Bashu Literature and Art Award of the First Sichuan Arts Festival, the Sichuan Wenhua Award and the Individual Best Performance Award.
