In the new era, how to use artificial intelligence technology to improve the in-car experience has become a popular technology research and development direction.

At present, the vast majority of car manufacturers have achieved initial intelligence, including voice interaction and BMS monitoring. From the perspective of iFLYTEK, we believe that there are three parts of the experience that is currently happening, one is intelligent interaction, and the most common thing before is that voice interaction includes word wake-up, including multi-speech recognition has become the standard, but this does not represent the top intelligence in China.

The second is service, one of the biggest needs of the current car factory is how to intervene in the whole life cycle of the user car, how to create more value, rather than just getting the corresponding profit when selling the car, which is definitely inseparable from the upgrade of intelligent services.

The third is that most of the in-car sound playback system, in fact, does not form a closed loop with the voice, how do we let the hundreds of thousands of cars of ordinary cars can enjoy the experience of 500,000, more than 1 million luxury cars can bring experience or sound field or audio experience, this is also the direction we hope to be able to achieve with AI technology.

Intelligent interaction upgrade will have three aspects, the first more natural dialogue, we say voice interaction, intelligent interaction is not a single point of technology, in fact, there are more than a dozen single points of technology together to form a comprehensive combination. So on the one hand, we continue to build better algorithms, based on the experience of the automotive industry in the past 20 years, analyzed out 180 typical car scenes, in addition to the most commonly used navigation, media, entertainment, telephone, with the development of life, with the advent of the IOT era, more and more scenes need to be deep and voice interaction through, only the scene and technical depth of integration together, in order to achieve a more natural interaction between people and cars.

Second, why do people come together to make such a message? Because people have five senses, including auditory vision olfactory touch, the amount of voice information transmission is limited, we need more visual information transmission as a supplement, we will be based on visual gestures, including voice to do multi-modal fusion, just like the sensors outside the car, there is radar outside the car also has vision, and finally the best path to support automatic driving is multi-modal fusion, and the car is actually the same. When the car visually feels the change in my emotional state, can I use a simple voice playback to change my mood? This is a scenario we imagined.

The third is that the car must have an image, for example, what is done here is the glutinous rice of Weilai Car, which represents the brand or image of the car, but most cars may not be able to install small robots, can we visualize a car or a brand into a humanoid image? Including and Great Wall Motors are also talking, because they have a lot of kittens and puppies as the brand name of the car, whether we make a corresponding changeable or even iterative image that can represent the car brand, to enhance the direct feeling of interaction between people and cars, which is also a very important aspect of intelligent interaction upgrade.
