Talented daughter of the Republic of China (36) Yu Shan, there are beautiful people in the south, unique and independent

Born in 1908, Yu Shan came from a prominent family and looked like a city. But she is not a well-behaved woman in the eyes of her family, she has a flamboyant personality and is extremely popular. In his early years, he studied at Nankai Middle School in Tianjin and Jinling Girls' High School in Nanjing, and later at the Shanghai National Conservatory of Music. After graduation, he joined the Nanguo Society led by Tian Han, and in 1929, he performed the drama "Salome" in Nanjing, playing the protagonist, in which Xian Xinghai played the piano and Wu Zuoren played the violin, and the performance was unprecedented, not only was it difficult to find a ticket, but even increased the ticket price on the spot. In 1930, he performed "Carmen", still playing the heroine. Yu Shan also studied Peking Opera with the famous Peking Opera artist Wang Yaoqing, but she was only a ticket holder and performed amateurs. It is said that her "Noble Concubine Drunk" was deeply passed down by Wang Yaoqing, and Mei Lanfang was full of praise after reading it. However, his father, Yu Dashun, thought that his daughter's acting as an actor was insulting and strictly forbade her to appear on stage again.

Rather frustrated, Yu Shan came to Qingdao University from Shanghai at the invitation of a friend, but she did not expect to stir up the waves of Qingdao University, and several professors and scholars fell under her pomegranate skirt. In 1933, at the age of 25, Yu Shan married Zhao Taiyou, the president of Qingdao University, who was 19 years older than her. Many people do not understand this marriage, Yu Shan is young and beautiful, full of charm, and there are so many people who pursue her. Zhao Taiyou was not only 19 years older than her, not good at words, but also divorced. Some say that Yu Shan's younger brother Yu Qiwei was studying at Qingdao University because he was in prison because of the Communist Party. The headmaster, Zhao Taiyou, is also one of Yu Shan's suitors, promising that as long as Yu Shan is willing to marry him, he will try to rescue her brother in a moment. As a result, he really did not renege on his word. During Zhao Taiyou's tenure, Qingdao University was full of talents and extremely prosperous, including Liang Shiqiu, Wen Yiduo, Shen Congwen, Fang Lingru and many other famous professors. It is said that he is not unrelated to the young and beautiful wife of the principal.

At that time, there was also a small librarian in the school, named Li Yunhe, who was in love with the younger brother of the principal's wife. The librarian went to Shanghai after Yu Qiwei was imprisoned, changed his name to Lan Ping, and later jiang qing.

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Yu Shan, her husband and two daughters moved to Beibei in Chongqing, where she and Zhao Qingge were neighbors and often ran alarms together. Zhao Qingge said that she was very fond of a pair of daughters, and when the bomb fell, she instinctively wrapped her two daughters in her arms first. It left a deep impression on Zhao Qingge.

Yu Shan's younger brother, Yu Qiwei, was Huang Jing, who became the first secretary of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee of New China after liberation and died of illness in 1958. Huang Jing's eldest son, Yu Zhengsheng, was once chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

In the 1950s, Yu Shan and Zhao Taiyou divorced and married a Peking Opera lover. He has worked in Tianjin, Shanghai, and Jiangsu Peking Opera Troupe, and it seems that he has not found a suitable position. Finally, he was transferred to the Beijing Institute of Chinese Opera. In 1968, as an "insider", Yu Shan was naturally doomed, was raided, shaved his yin and yang head, and died soon after, at the age of 60. It was also this year that Zhao Taiyou committed suicide by throwing himself into the sea in Qingdao.
