Mak Chan-ho also pointed out that the demonstrators then illegally imprisoned another mainland man, snatched his backpack and accused him of being a mainland law enforcement officer, and that extremely radical demonstrators abused lynching, used ropes to ask for the hands and feet of the perpetrator, insulted the man and tried to remove his pants, tortured and beat him. Some demonstrators used umbrellas to cover the road television, and pointed out that some people did not allow reporters to take pictures, and Mai Zhanhao severely condemned it, saying that he would pursue it to the end.

Mai Zhanhao mentioned that when the police withdrew from the airport on the evening of the 13th, some police officers were surrounded and beaten by a large number of demonstrators, and some people hit the police car with hard objects. He described the demonstrators as "completely crazy" and that the officer was surrounded and beaten and could only draw his gun, believing that the police officer was absolutely correct, legitimate and reasonable, and showed heroism, decisiveness and restraint.

Chief Superintendent of the Police Public Relations Branch, Mr Tse Chun-chung, pointed out that on the 13th, the police arrested a total of 5 adult men aged between 17 and 28 on suspicion of unlawful assembly at airport T1, two of whom were suspected of assaulting police officers and possessing offensive weapons, and 5 were now being detained and followed up by the New Territories South Regional Serious Crime Unit.

Xie Zhenzhong also stated that under the Aviation Security Ordinance Cap. 494, any person who uses any device, substance or weapon, or in any other way, deliberately commits any act of violence at an airport serving international civil aviation, resulting in casualties or endangering the safe operation of the airport or the safety of persons at that airport, is guilty of imprisonment for life. In addition to pushing people, even if they raise their hands to prevent people from leaving, deliberately restrict the free entry and exit of others, or involve illegal confinement, they can be imprisoned for up to seven years, such as two years in prison for the crime of wandering, and one year for ordinary attacks. The AA has obtained a temporary injunction, and if any person who breaches the injunction is contempt of court, the Police will also cooperate with the AA's request to go to the airport for enforcement.

Asked whether the police had sent personnel to disguise at the airport on the 13th, Mak Chan-ho responded that there were no police officers disguised in the airport operation on the 13th. He said that the police's earlier disguised operation was an intelligence-led operation to arrest extremist demonstrators, not the police's way of handling demonstrations, and hoped that everyone could distinguish between the two. The police will fully cooperate with the peaceful and orderly and legal demonstrations, and we hope that everyone can be separated in combating the destruction of Hong Kong by extremely violent demonstrators.
