At the same time, through the preservation of dead standing wood nesting, hanging artificial bird nests, artificial water sources, the establishment of woodpecker protection experimental base and other technical measures, further promote the natural expansion of woodpecker population in Jiuquan City, effectively play the ecological role of natural enemies to control insects, promote forest ecological self-repair, self-balancing, practice the concept of green development, and achieve sustainable forestry ecological development in Jiuquan City.
