At the training meeting, the technical staff of Dunhuang Forestry Technology Center explained and trained on the principles, advantages, operating methods and technical essentials of chemical control of trunk drug injection. Subsequently, in the farmland and forest belt of Suzhou Town, forest technicians guided the operation of tree trunk injection on the spot, and more than 100 people from the directors of the agricultural, forestry and animal husbandry service centers, forestry specialists and farmer technicians from various towns participated in the training.
At present, it is the budding and leafing period of poplar, willow and elm trees, and it is also a critical stage for the killing of the larvae of the macular star tianniu. Through the trunk drug injection measures, the purpose of effectively killing the larvae of the macular star tianniu can be achieved. At present, dunhuang city yellow spot star tianniu trunk injection drug prevention work is about to be fully launched. It is understood that last year, Dunhuang City completed 280,000 tree trunk injections in the Yellow Spot Star Tianniu Tree, and this year Dunhuang City plans to complete 300,000 tree trunk injections in various towns.
