Written and directed by Kaiqi Xue and Kit Hung, the MV is also the first time that Kaiqi Xue has shot a short film for her own songs. Fresh literary and artistic pictures tell the story of a pair of broken-up lovers who reunite and recall each other's memories. The song of the same name, "The Last and the Last", is the second title song of Xue Kaiqi's Red Pavilion concert.
The story tells the story of a young man and woman who meet in a gallery and fall in love, but for various reasons eventually break up because of a quarrel. Until a few years later, the man reappeared, and found that the other had become mature, and they had become doubly cherished for this reunion. At this time, they relived the last dance...
The story cuts into memory from now, through soft light and lighting, presenting fresh and beautiful tones, rendering the warmth and sweetness of love; finally, the dancing part switches with the lens of memory, integrating the past and the present, and the completely different tones give people a sense of time and space isolation, expressing the grasp of the male and female protagonists on reality.
The story is relatively bland, in line with the style and tone of the literary and artistic novelty, and the close-up capture of the characters and the interaction with each other and the body language are more in place. Close-up shots and character facial expressions both play a role in driving the plot forward. However, in terms of lighting and post-processing, there are too many highlights for the presentation of the memory part, resulting in blurred character images.
