In practice, I still feel that there are some precautions, and I need to explain to the new aquarists:

Because of the black spotted water tiger, the sea fish that has been feeding recently, since feeding, I have not cleaned the magic bag, this is the first time, good guys, let me appreciate the taste of the sea, but that is also the smell of rotten fish and shrimp in the seaside fish market.
First of all, the first point, we must stop the pump, this is very important, no matter how well the biochemical filter material is placed afterwards, as long as these magic bags, magic carpets, filter cottons and the like are removed, it is bound to bring out impurities, if the pump is not stopped, the impurities will be washed away by the water flow to the next level of filtration.
Some aquaphiles try to save trouble and are too lazy to stop the pump, which is not right, it is best not to do so.
Not only the magic carpet, the magic bag, but also the filter cotton after it should be checked, and if it is dirty, it should be cleaned or replaced at the same time
Some aquarists will lay several layers of filter cotton again under the magic bag or magic carpet, such as three or two layers, if the time is too long, the filter cotton is too dirty, then it is directly replaced.
In addition, I also found that there will be many small black worms in the bottom filter that feeds live food, including black food, Contra and black spots, and the butterfly carp bottom filter tank, although there are also small black worms, but the number is very small.
Suppose, if you find a large number of small black worms on the magic bag or magic carpet, you can burn them, which is also important.
Cleaning, on the contrary, is the simplest work
As for cleaning, I have said it countless times, don't have to be so careful, simply rub, roughly clean.
Then it is the installation, first of all, the filter cotton or to ensure that the absolute blockage of the water flow, no overflow, the magic bag must be firmly wrapped on the sewer pipe, the bag mouth is tightly tied, the magic carpet laying the same as the filter cotton, but it is not easy to layer too much, to avoid serious water blockage.
After that, do not forget to open the pump cycle, by the way check whether the pump silo is short of water, if the lack of water needs to be moderately replenished, after the water is replenished, do not open the pump immediately, it is best to precipitate for ten minutes, there may be impurities wandering.
When we turn on the pump, we can still see some impurities in the fish tank, it doesn't matter, cycle for an hour or two, and the impurities will be gone.
