At present, the Shenzhou 12 flight crew has completed the isolation and recovery stage as planned, and will soon be transferred to the recuperation and recovery stage.

The press conference of the Shenzhou 13 manned mission was held at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on the 14th. Lin Xiqiang said at the meeting that the Shenzhou 12 mission created a number of "firsts", one is the first time that Chinese astronauts have entered the Chinese space station; the second is the first time to achieve a long-term stay of astronauts for 3 months; the third is the first time to achieve manned autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking, shortening from the original 2 days to 6.5 hours; fourth, the astronauts have used robotic arms to implement extravehicular operations for the first time.

Lin Xiqiang said that in the Shenzhou XII mission, the functional performance of the engineering systems to perform the space station task has been assessed and verified, the process is smooth, the results are satisfactory, and the set goals of the mission have been successfully achieved. Through the implementation of the mission, the astronaut crew and the engineering systems have gained valuable experience, laying a solid foundation for the construction and operation of the space station.

According to reports, on the basis of completing the established training plan, the ground staff arranged for the "Shen Thirteen" crew to have a heaven-earth call with the "Shen XII" crew, and after the return of the Shenzhou XII crew, the two crews and the backup astronauts had a full exchange, sharing the experience and feelings gained by the "Shen XII" crew on orbit, especially in view of the outgoing activities, fully exchanged the matters that should be paid attention to in the differences between heaven and earth, and the Shenzhou Thirteen crew carried out corresponding training on this, laying a foundation for entering the state in advance and smoothly performing the task.

Lin Xiqiang also said that the recovery work after the astronauts returned to the ground by group was divided into three stages: isolation recovery, recuperation recovery, and recovery observation. On September 17, the Shenzhou 12 astronauts returned to Beijing Space City on the same day of their return, and at present, the isolation and recovery stage has been completed as planned, and the three astronauts are in good physical and mental condition and will soon be transferred to the recuperation and recovery stage.
