Xiao Chun (558–607), courtesy name Wenwen, was the last emperor of Western Liang, grandson of Emperor Xuan of Liang, son of Emperor Xiao of Liang, and brother of Empress Xiao of the Sui Dynasty. Reigned: 585-587, the year name Guangyun, nephew Xiao Milling became empress, posthumously Honored Xiao Zhen Xiaojing Emperor.

In February, Xiao Died at the age of forty-four. Emperor Yuwen yong of the Northern Zhou Dynasty then ordered Xiao Yu to succeed to the throne, and Xiao Chun initially created him the Prince of Dongyang, and soon became crown prince.

In June, Xiao Yue died, and the crown prince Xiao Chun succeeded to the throne with the era name Guangyun. Emperor Yang Jian of sui gave Xiao Chun a seal letter and encouraged him to limit himself more, give more favors to the people, and govern the country with courtesy.

Xiao Chun sent the general Qi Xin to lead a water army to sneak into The Public Security County of the Chen Dynasty, but did not attack and returned. Emperor Wen of Sui recruited Xiao Cen's uncle Xiao Cen into the dynasty, thought that he was a great general, made the Duke of Huaiyi County, and left Xiao Cen in Chang'an, setting up a governor of Jiangling to monitor Xiao Chun.
Seven years of the reign of emperor (587)
In August, Emperor Wen of Sui enlisted Xiao Chun into the dynasty, and Xiao Chun's uncle Taifu (太傅) and Xiao Yan (萧岩) the Prince of Anping, his younger brothers Jingzhou (荆州刺史) and Xiao Huan (瓛) the Prince of Yixing, fearing that Cui Hongdu would take advantage of the opportunity to attack Jiangling, sent the official Shangshu Shen Jungong (沈君公) to request a surrender from Chen Huiji.
In September, Chen Huiji led an army to jiangling city, and Xiao Yan, Xiao Wan, and others led a total of 100,000 Western Liang officials and civilians to surrender to the Chen Dynasty. When Emperor Wen of Sui learned of this, he ordered the deposing of the Western Liang regime, the appointment of Xiao Chun as the Shangzhu State, and the title of Duke of Juguo.
Fourteenth year of the reign of emperor (594)
In October, Emperor Wen of Sui issued an edict ordering Xiao Chun, Gao Renying, the former King of Gaoping of Northern Qi, and Chen Shubao, the former Emperor of the Chen Dynasty, to be responsible for the sacrifice on time, and the utensils needed for the sacrifice were provided by the officials in charge of the relevant departments of the imperial court.
4th year of Renshou (604)
In July, Emperor Wen of Sui was killed by Yang Guang's men, and Yang Guang took the throne. Xiao Chun was appointed as the Inner Shi Ling (内史令) and renamed duke of Liang.

In July, the Sui Emperor Yang Guang killed He Ruobi for slandering the government. After He Ruobi's death, there was a folk nursery rhyme saying: "The Xiao Liang family is going to prosper again." The Sui Emperor was jealous of him, so he deposed Xiao Chun as a commoner, and Xiao Chun died soon after. The Sui Emperor posthumously honored him as Grand Master Zuo Guanglu.

Xiao Qian's nephew Xiao Qian was proclaimed emperor and posthumously honored his uncle Xiao Chun as Emperor Xiaojing.

Xiao Chun was still highly regarded during the Sui Dynasty, and after the Sui Emperor ascended the throne, because Xiao Chun was his wife and brother, he treated Xiao Chun more kindly, and also made Xiao Chun the Duke of Liang and the Inner Shi Ling, and many of Xiao Chun's relatives were also promoted to the imperial court as officials. At that time, there was a nursery rhyme saying: "Xiao Xiao also revived", which led to the Suspicion of Xiao Chun by the Sui Emperor, and finally Xiao Chun was dismissed from his post and died at home shortly after.
