After collecting, sorting and editing, the book "Research on Liu Gongquan Calligraphy" was completed in October 2021, only to commemorate the 1243rd anniversary of the birth of the famous calligrapher Liu Gongquan, who was born in Tongchuan, Shaanxi.
The book covers the main works of Liu Gongquan's life, with 40,000 words of translations and 260 illustrations of authentic manuscripts, especially the huge manuscript "Diamond Sutra" excavated in Dunhuang more than 100 years ago, with a total of 5162 words without missing a word. This rare treasure was smuggled to France by the French sinologist Bo Xihe from Dunhuang and is now treasured in the National Library of France, which was the masterpiece of Liu Gongquan at the age of 47.
A thousand years of time flash by, Liu Gongquan's calligraphy works and personality charm still shine brilliantly, illuminating the calligraphy road of millions of students. To this day, our generation should shoulder the responsibility of inheritance and continue to carry forward the soul of the Chinese national culture and carry it forward.
