Xian Xinghai (June 13, 1905 – October 30, 1945), a member of the Communist Party of China, born in Macao, was a famous composer and pianist in modern and contemporary China, known as the "People's Musician". In 1929, he went to Paris to study work-study under the famous violinist Pani Obedodorfer and the famous composer Paul Ducas. After returning to China after completing his studies in 1935, he actively participated in the Anti-Japanese Salvation Movement. In 1938, he went to Yan'an and later served as the head of the music department of Lu Xun Art College. In June 1939, he joined the Communist Party of China. On October 30, 1945, he died of lung disease in Moscow. Xian Xinghai composed a large number of militant and infectious mass songs, opening up a new situation in China's modern revolutionary music. He also created immortal masterpieces such as "Yellow River Chorus" and "Production Chorus", which invigorated the national spirit and became the spiritual weapon of the Chinese nation to resist the enemy and save the country.
