Huang Tingjian, a native of Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province, his poetry and paintings are known as "three absolutes", which is the same as Su Dongpo at that time, known as "Su Huang", Huang Tingjian not only has a literary name, but also has filial piety, he often personally washes the drowning apparatus (toilet barrel) for his mother, that is, he later became an official, and did not change his filial piety, because of his filial piety, he was selected by his descendants into the Twenty-Four Filial Pieties.
According to legend, Huang Tingjian was appointed by the imperial court as the Zhizhou of Wuhu After entering the army, he was only twenty-six years old when he took office.
One day, while he was asleep in the afternoon, he had a dream that he had walked out of the state gate and went straight to a village, and saw an old woman standing in front of a confession outside a certain door, holding incense, muttering to herself, similar to calling out someone's name. Huang Tingjian looked forward and saw a bowl of cooked celery noodles on the table, the aroma was overflowing, Huang Tingjian unconsciously took it up and ate it, after eating it, he walked back to the Mansion, and when he woke up, the dream was still very clear, especially strange, there was still the aroma of celery in his mouth. Although he wondered in his heart, he didn't think anything of it, he just felt that he had a dream.

When he fell asleep the next day, the dream was exactly similar to yesterday, and the teeth and cheeks still had the smell of celery, and Huang Tingjian couldn't help but be surprised. So he got up and walked out of the gate, following the path of the dream memory, to his surprise, along the way, the scenery of the road was exactly the same as the scene in the dream, and finally came to the door of a person's house, but the door was closed, Huang Tingjian went to knock on the door, a white-haired old woman came out to answer the door, Huang Tingjian asked her if anyone had been shouting outside the door to eat noodles these two days.
The old woman replied, "Yesterday was my daughter's death day, because she loved to eat celery noodles very much when she was alive, so every year on her death day, I would offer a bowl of celery noodles and call her to eat!" ”
Huang Tingjian asked, "How long has it been since your daughter died?" ”
The old woman replied, "It's been twenty-six years!" Huang Tingjian thought to himself, isn't he also twenty-six years old? And yesterday also happened to be her birthday, so I further asked the mother-in-law about the situation of her daughter when she was born.
The old woman said that she only had such a daughter, the daughter was very fond of reading when she was born, and believed in Buddhism and was very filial, but she refused to marry, and later at the age of twenty-six, she had a disease and died, and when she died, she told her that she would come back to see her!
When Huang Tingjian entered the house, the old woman pointed to a large wooden cabinet and told him that the books her daughter had read in her life were all locked in it, but she did not know where the key was placed, so it could not be opened.
Strangely, Huang Tingjian suddenly remembered the location of the key at that time, and according to his memory, he found the key, and when he opened the wooden cabinet, he found many manuscripts inside, and Huang Tingjian was surprised when he read it carefully, and it turned out that the articles he wrote every time he took the exam were all in these manuscripts, and they were word for word.
At this point, Huang Tingjian had fully understood in his heart that this old woman was his mother in his previous life, so he welcomed the old woman back to the state and raised her for more than a year. Later, Huang Tingjian built a pavilion in the back garden of the prefecture, which contained an engraved image of himself, and inscribed a stone stele like praise: "Like a monk with hair, like a vulgar dust, dreaming in a dream, realizing the outside." ”
From this image, it seems that this reincarnation story can be confirmed, and it may be true. And Yuan Ming, a scholar of the Ming Dynasty, also heard this story, and could not help but sigh that "the book is too late to read in this life". Of course, Yuan Ming's exclamation that "the book is late to read in this life" is not unreasonable, because if a person's interest, skill, talent, and talent in things are cultivated to a certain degree of intensity or superiority, in the next life, they can often uphold the foundation of the past life, and can have a relatively advantageous "continuation" role, but if they only uphold the foundation of the past life, and no longer continue to learn and develop or make self-breakthroughs, then the world probably only has the sigh of "late"!
As for the description of the article written by Huang Tingjian in this life and the description of "exactly the same" or "verbatim" in the past life, it is probably an exaggeration of the rumors, and it can only be said that in terms of the structure of the article, or in terms of ideas and concepts, it may have a very high degree of similarity!
Of course, as we said before, not only a person's interests, hobbies, talents, if cultivated to a certain extent, will continue to the next life, that is, a person's personality, personality traits, ideas or beliefs, if cultivated to a certain degree, it will also continue to come to life, just like Huang Tingjian's nature of learning Buddhism and filial piety, obviously has a great relationship with his previous life.
