Nandu News Reporter Xie Xiangnan On December 27, the Western picture book activity with the theme of "Childhood and Reading - Those Things That Picture Books Read Together" was held on the big steps of the north district of the central city of Shenzhen. The organizers of the event invited Li Di, the founder of Clover Story Family, a non-governmental non-profit organization in Shenzhen that is committed to promoting parent-child reading into the family, to speak about Western picture books for novice parents, children and readers who love picture book reading.

The event was hosted by Shenzhen Publishing Group and Shenzhen Book City Xinhua Book Chain Headquarters, Shenzhen Book City Central City, Shenzhen Publishing Group Asset Branch, Shenzhen Yiwen Books, Huaying Media and Huaying Art Museum, aiming to spread and guide children's picture book reading, enrich the childhood time of young readers, and develop the good habit of loving reading from an early age. Education has influenced the new generation to strengthen cultural self-confidence and promote civilization exchanges and references.

In this activity, the children made a wonderful opening dance performance. Li Di, founder of the Clover Story Family, explained the Interaction between Western Picture Books and the young readers at the scene of the event, and the atmosphere was warm. The activity plays a positive role in encouraging young readers in Shenzhen to establish a good habit of reading from an early age. Through the appreciation of the childlike and interesting stories of Western picture books, Chinese and foreign cultures blended together, so that foreign friends and Shenzhen young readers who participated in this activity felt a different reading experience.
