Zhu Xuezhi: Guangdong Sea has no problem in freshwater fish feed technology, and it has not been able to exert force before due to insufficient production capacity, so Guangdong Sea is also accelerating the layout of freshwater fish feed plate. This year, a new freshwater fish feed workshop was added in Guangdong, Fujian, and Jiangsu Guangdong began production in May this year, becoming the freshwater fish feed production capacity center of Guangdong in East China, with fish feed production reaching more than 6,000 tons last month. Tianmen Guangdong will be put into production in the near future, in addition, Shandong Guangdong has also begun construction, Guangdong in other provinces in central China also has plans to take land to build factories. These new or planned factories target the freshwater fish feed market, and there will certainly be an explosive growth in freshwater fish feed in guangdong in the next two years.

Zhu Xuezhi: The new guangdong Tianmen factory was built for the freshwater fish feed market in central China, and has entered the final state of machine commissioning, and plans to put into operation in the near future. The first phase of the Tianmen new plant has a total of 6 high-grade and submerged material production lines, mainly to produce freshwater fish feed, while involving river crabs, crayfish and other freshwater aquaculture species; the second phase of the project plans to add 11 production lines, and eventually reach 20 production lines, which will provide a strong new engine for Guangdong to enter the freshwater fish feed market in central China.

Zhu Xuezhi: Guangdong freshwater fish feed products have four highlights: high cost performance, fast feeding, functional feed stands out, and stable quality. At present, most of our factories are still mainly grass carp feed and tilapia feed, and the small variety market has spotted forktail catfish feed, yellow jaw fish feed and bream feed. The Pearl River Delta market is mainly based on puffed grass carp materials, and its functional feed "liver and intestines" has formed a good brand effect. Now our puffed materials account for 4-50% of all freshwater fish feed, this proportion will continue to increase, especially in the Pearl River Delta market with high product strength and fierce competition, our Zhongshan Taishan puffed material sales account for about 70% of the total sales, the acceptance in the Pearl River Delta is very high, and the sales volume is rising steadily.

Aquatic frontier: At present, the homogenization of freshwater fish feed in formulas, processes or products is still relatively serious, how does Guangdong Reflect Differentiation when creating products?

Zhu Xuezhi: The formula of freshwater fish feed is relatively mature, the profit margin is relatively small, and it is not easy to make characteristics. When Guangdong Enters the Freshwater Fish Feed Market, the first thing that reflects the differentiation is to occupy the market through long-term stable quality. Secondly, we will launch functional feed according to the different needs of the market. Zhu Xuezhi: Due to the geographical advantages, local freshwater fish feed manufacturers are more flexible in cost control and can quickly occupy the market through price wars or direct sales. But this is not a long-term solution, especially as a group enterprise, we must be quality-oriented and maintain stable quality, so as to enter the mainstream market and gain a firm foothold.

Zhu Xuezhi: Environmental protection is the trend of the times, and we can only follow the trend. We are now also guiding farmers to the direction of pond culture, and at the same time guiding farmers to turn to the use of puffed materials, because the puffed materials have little pollution to water bodies and are fast in long speed, which is also the general trend of feed in the future. In fact, although the volume of freshwater fish farming in some areas has shrunk, our sales have not declined, but have increased significantly, especially our increasing acceptance of extruded materials. In the future, less polluted and cost-effective feed will certainly be the first choice for freshwater fish farming.

Aquatic Frontier: We all know that Guangdong Feed attaches great importance to quality, so how to ensure long-term stability of quality while increasing yield?

Zhu Xuezhi: This depends on the cooperation of our team, and we must dare to die in the formulation technology. First of all, we require the team of technical personnel to regularly go deep into the front line, to the pond head to proof, record the growth data and other breeding information, in order to timely feedback to the production department, never because of the yield and sacrifice quality. At the same time, each of our factories will be equipped with 1-2 formulators, large factories even reached 2-3, technical service managers will also regularly track the effect of products, once there is any problem in the market, we will follow up in time, timely treatment, customers with Guangdong feed will also feel more secure.

Zhu Xuezhi: Guangdong has great potential in the freshwater fish feed sector, and there are many opportunities, so whether it is a new employee or an old employee, everyone is full of energy to rush forward. This year we recruited 2 new formulators, and now the formulation and R & D personnel of the entire freshwater fish plate have reached 20 people, and each factory is equipped with 1-2 resident formulators to feedback market information in a timely manner to make rapid adjustments. We are still mainly based on independent training, new employees from the beginning of the company to contact, training, to understand the corporate culture of Guangdong, the key is to understand the core of Guangdong quality-oriented thinking. The most important thing for formulators is to have a sense of responsibility, continuous learning, precipitation, in order to polish a stable quality feed.

Zhu Xuezhi: I am personally still relatively optimistic, this year Chairman Zheng Shixuan gave me the task of completing the group's quantitative requirements for freshwater fish feed, with the commissioning of new factories in various places, it is only a matter of time before the target is completed.
