In contrast, there are few depictions of the original family of the male protagonist Jiang Defu.
In the only three scenes against the relatives of the Jiang family, only three relatives have the names of the Eight Classics of Zheng'er, and the others are either brushed over or have no names at all.

1. Each of the three scenes needs to represent a representative character
These three people, except for Dehua, who appeared at the beginning, the other two appeared at about the same time.
Dehua took advantage of Defu's relationship to send his mother's family to become soldiers, so he wrote a letter to recruit the second eldest bride in his hometown.
The second eldest lady also weighed the children who still needed to be arranged in the family, and there was only one Yan Feng, so she brought her penniless granddaughter Yan Feng to let Defu arrange to be a soldier.
In this scene, the second eldest bride and her son have no names, only the granddaughter explicitly says that her name is Yan Feng. It can be said that Yan Feng is the representative of this scene.
After the second eldest lady returned to the village, they all began to blush, wanting to come to the light of Defu. Whether they are relatives or not, they all want to be related to Telford.
So a second wave of Telford's relatives came. There were a total of 8 adults and children in this wave, but there was only one Tian Xiaojuan with a name in the Eight Classics of Zheng'er, and the others basically had no name.
Obviously, Tian Xiaojuan is the representative of this family visit scene.
2. Set off The original family of Jiang Defu
If you look closely at the names of Jiang Defu's three relatives, you will find that whether it is Dehua, Yanfeng or Tian Xiaojuan, in fact, the names are not very earthy, and even a little good.

3. Make a foreshadowing for Jiang Defu's return to his hometown later
As the first relative of Yan Feng to ask Jiang Defu to do things, Jiang Defu agreed without embarrassment, and also made arrangements.
