Beijing News (reporter Yang Feifei) On the evening of October 29, the official WeChat public account of the Haidian District Education Commission of Beijing Municipality, "Haidian Education", released a message that nucleic acid testing for all primary and secondary school students in school will be launched on November 1. At the same time, the Haidian education system has also launched nucleic acid testing and enhanced vaccination for teachers, and vaccination of children aged 3-11 years.

Before New Year's Day, elementary school students complete nucleic acid testing

According to the arrangement, all primary and secondary school students will participate in the nucleic acid test, which will be officially launched on November 1, and the primary school will be completed before New Year's Day; and the middle school will be completed before the winter vacation. Testing is carried out monday through Friday and does not take place on weekends.

Nucleic acid detection and screening in primary and secondary schools adopts the designated testing institutions of the health department to be responsible for the package, the school district docking and coordination, the school is organized separately, and the school enters the school one by one. The testing site is every primary and secondary school.

All on-the-job faculty and staff (including non-staff, temporary employment, cleaning, security, and canteen staff) will also undergo nucleic acid testing. Those who meet the requirements for full vaccination against the new crown virus for more than 6 months (April 30) and who are over the age of 18 are also required to receive the booster injection.

From 1 November, vaccination for children aged 3-11 years will be initiated

In accordance with the unified deployment of the state, Beijing launched the new crown virus vaccination work for children aged 3-11 years old on October 28.

On October 29, the Haidian District Education Commission announced detailed vaccination arrangements for children aged 3-11 years. Elementary school students and kindergarten children (over three years old) will participate in the vaccination, which will start on November 1, with the first dose ending before the end of November, the second dose ending before the end of December, and the re-vaccination ending by the end of January next year. Primary schools will be vaccinated during school hours from Monday to Friday, and kindergartens will be vaccinated on weekends.

The Haidian District Education Commission said that if other vaccines (such as influenza vaccines) need to be injected more than 14 days apart, the new crown virus vaccine is given priority.

In the vaccination hospital, the district health commission will determine the location of the hospital for vaccination. Among them, the primary school is coordinated by the school district, the school organizes each other, and the hospital enters the school in the district to carry out vaccination. The kindergarten is coordinated by the school district, the kindergarten counts the number of people, uses two weekends to hold a special field for children's vaccination, to the vaccination point designated by the Health Commission, led by the parents to carry out vaccination, and the school district and kindergarten to the vaccination point and the peripheral security unit are coordinated with each other. The secondary school is coordinated by the school district, the school counts the number of people, and uses the weekend time to go to the vaccination point recommended by the health department, accompanied by parents for vaccination.

Fengtai and Mentougou have started vaccination for 3-11 years old

The reporter noted that Fengtai District and Mentougou District of Beijing have started vaccination for children aged 3-11 years on the 29th.

On October 29, "Mentougou Education" released the news that more than 160 students of Montenegro Primary School had taken the lead in vaccinating the new crown virus at the vaccination site of the Dayu Street Cultural Center. According to the statistics of the survey, there are more than 24,000 students aged 3-11 in Mentougou District. The education system of Mentougou District will be implemented in batches and phases in accordance with the order of "primary school first and kindergarten" to ensure the safe and orderly progress of vaccination work.

According to a previous report by the Beijing News, Fengtai District has started vaccination on the 29th, and plans to start the first dose of the new crown vaccine for people aged 3-11 years old before the end of October this year. By the end of November, the first dose of vaccination for eligible 3- to 11-year-olds will be completed. By the end of December, complete the full vaccination of children aged 3-11 years against COVID-19. By the end of January next year (2022), the replanting of children aged 3-11 will be completed.

According to the data provided by the Fengtai District Education Commission, there are currently 83 primary schools in the district, a total of 68,000 primary school students, 234 kindergartens, a total of 57,000 children, and a total of 125,000 people in the 3-11 age group need to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
