Yushu is a prefecture in Qinghai Province, and anglers from other places may be unfamiliar. In fact, Yushu is not difficult to find, open the map of China, along the Yangtze River all the way up, to the source is. Yushu is not only the birthplace of the Yangtze River, but also the birthplace of the Lancang River, and is said to be the true source of the Yellow River.
In the almost primitive ecological environment of Yushu, there are surprisingly many fish, huangyu, flower fish, flipper fish, and there are many large carps and some fish that cannot be named in the Tongtian River. Many years ago, I also lived in Yushu for a few days, and there were fish at noon and night, as if I had arrived in the water town of the southern country. The flower fish with dark lines on the back and thick lips and tender flesh is the most delicious, and this fish also sells for eighty or ninety yuan a pound in the local area.
However, in the eyes of many Tibetan compatriots, fish are indeed spiritual gods. Therefore, to fish in Yushu, it is recommended to avoid sacred places such as temples, respect local customs and habits, and it is best to keep a low profile. Catching flower fish is not an easy task, and you must master a certain method.

Can be used with hand rods or throwing rods, string hooks or double hooks. When fishing with a hook, fall under the hook. My method is 7.2 meters hand pole one, sea pole two. 6~9 long handle hook. Under the impact of the current, the tip of the rod produces a directional, rhythmic and regular jitter.

The flower fish is a unique fish species of Yushu, which grows very slowly, and a fish weighing two or three pounds has lived in the world for at least five or six years.
Later, it was learned that the scientific name of this flower fish was Gymnodiptychus pachycheilus, which belonged to the order Cyprinid, cyprinids, subfamily, naked heavy lip fish, the whole body is almost "naked", "fully naked", hence the name. Also known as: heavy lip flower fish, hemp fish, also known as the mouth, Gu Mingsi its lips are unique and thick.
