People's Daily News On the 24th, according to a number of South Korean media reports, the new boy group TREASURE 13 failed to debut.
TREASURE 13 is composed of 13 trainees selected by YG debut program "YG Gem Box", including HARUTO, Fang Yitan, Su Jeong-hwan, Kim Joon-kyu, Park Jeong-woo, Yoon Jae-hyuk, and Choi Hyun-sook. Among them, Fang Yitan was evaluated as Michael Jackson of South Korea in SBS's "K-POP STAR Season 2".
Previously, former YG president Leung Hyun-suk said through the official website of YG in February that the debut time of TREE 13 is expected to be from May to July this year, and plans to achieve rapid development of the group through continuous new song releases.
But with the outbreak of the victory incident and the official investigation of Leung Hyun-seok for allegedly entertaining foreign investors by pornography, YG ushered in the biggest crisis since its founding. Former YG president Leung Hyun Seok also resigned as president, and all the debut plans he was in charge of had a bad pool.
Previously, Leung Hyun Seok personally created the JTBC talent show "Mix Nine" and promised to select 9 trainee groups to debut, and the failure of "Mix Nine" made YG once controversial. After "Mix Nine", the debut dreams of treasure 13 teenagers were once again shelved.
In this regard, YG did not express any position.
