"Young You" is a film based on Jiu Yuexi's novel, directed by director Zeng Guoxiang and starring Zhou Dongyu and Yi Qianxi. After watching this film, my mood was difficult to calm down for a long time.
First, the film uses ironclad facts to tell everyone that what you see is not necessarily the truth of the facts. Wei Lai in the film is such a student, on the surface seems to be a well-behaved first class student, but in fact he has a vicious mind, taking pleasure in bullying and insulting others. On campus, gangs and bullying others, Hu Xiaodi's death is inextricably linked to her. After Hu Xiaodi committed suicide by jumping off a building, they turned their evil eyes to Chen Nian, a child who had no quarrel with the world and only wanted to enter a good university to change his fate. In the face of Hu Xiaofei's death, they not only did not have any sense of guilt, but even made a big fuss and kept their mouths shut. In order to retaliate against Chen Nian for their report, the personal attack on Chen Nian was simply unscrupulous.
Second, the negligence or connivance of parents will make children fall into the scum of society and the scum of primates. This is the case with Wei Lai and her accomplices in the film. But for their irresponsible parents, these heinous children are the good girls in their eyes. This may be a dereliction of duty by the parents, not knowing the child, and more likely to be due to the connivance of the parents. We can see the reaction of the parents when They were persuaded to leave. They only care about the so-called future of their children, but they turn a blind eye to the harm they bring to others, which is not a problem with the eyes, but a problem with the heart, and there is no conscience as a person. In the most critical moment, she had dialed Officer Zheng's phone, but finally had to hang up the phone, because she knew that this might be a failure, and it might be exchanged for more crazy retaliation, and Officer Zheng could not protect her 24 hours a day. This is the contradiction between ideal and reality.
