Zhao Lijian: The evil genes of racism are still flowing in the blood of the United States

The US media recently disclosed that in December 1951, William Patterson, the leader of the US "Civil Rights Congress", submitted a petition entitled "We Accuse Genocide" to the UN General Assembly, documenting hundreds of massacres and abuses against black people from 1945 to 1951, and arguing that the crimes committed by the US government against blacks coincided with the crime of genocide as defined in the UNITED Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide, and that evidence of black genocide was "everywhere in the United States". The United Nations is called upon to demand that the United States take steps to stop genocide. Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said at a regular news conference on January 21 that this dusty past of more than 70 years has once again unveiled the scars of racial discrimination in the United States. The petition mentions that more than 10,000 black people have been lynched or maimed because they did not call whites "sir"; many black people have suffered both physical and mental injuries as a result of beatings and threats. Regrettably, the problem of racism in the United States mentioned in the petition has not been resolved to this day, but has intensified. People can't help but ask, nearly 250 years after the founding of the United States and nearly 160 years after the emancipation proclamation was issued, does Uncle Tom really own his own cottage? Was Django really rescued? Did Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream really come true? Why can't the Freuds breathe?

Zhao Lijian said: Historically, the United States has slaughtered, expelled, and assimilated Indians from all aspects, including the flesh, land, and culture, and has violated the human rights of Indians in an all-round and systematic manner, which has long constituted de facto genocide. The U.S. government is to blame for this. In 1814, President Madison decreed that every Indian man over the age of 12 could be awarded a $100 bounty, a $50 bounty was awarded for the scalp of an Indian woman or child, "high-quality boots can be made with the skin of an Indian", "the United States must exterminate indians", "an Indian should be executed every 10 minutes", "only a dead Indian is a good Indian", and so on.

Zhao Lijian said that to this day, the evil genes of racism are still flowing in the blood of the United States. The U.S. Government should show the courage to scrape the bones and cure the poison, completely remove the "cancer tumor" of racial discrimination that has penetrated into the fabric of society, and the "history of genocide among American Indians" and the "record of racial discrimination in the United States" that have lasted for more than two centuries should immediately put a permanent end.
