The anesthetic drugs used to commit crimes metabolize so quickly that they are almost impossible to detect in the victims. "In the urgent situation of frequent cases, my colleagues and I decided to experiment on ourselves." David lee slept in the laboratory for two days and two nights after taking anesthetics, and colleagues regularly took blood and samples on him, and it was by relying on this "stupid method" that they found out the law of drug metabolism, monitored and analyzed the drug metabolism, solved this criminal technical problem, and promptly cracked down on this new type of criminal activity and prevented its spread.

"As forensic technologists, the crime scene is another battlefield for us in addition to the laboratory." For 33 years, David has been fighting in the front line of on-site investigation and inspection and identification of major cases, leading the team to solve a number of major cases.
In April 2014, a homicide occurred in a community in Guangzhou, killing many people, and the criminals carried out a comprehensive clean-up of the scene after the crime, trying to erase the traces of crime. In order to solve the case as soon as possible and give justice to the deceased, David Anderson and his colleagues investigated for 6 days and 6 nights, resting only two or three hours a day, extracting tens of thousands of inspection materials and conducting inspections, and finally found key physical evidence and locked important clues left by criminals.
In recent years, the Criminal Technology Institute of the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau has adhered to the "empowerment" of data, the "wisdom" of science and technology, and the establishment of a new professional on-site investigation mechanism of "rapid response and disposal, rapid extraction and inspection, rapid comparison and expansion, and rapid verification and landing" in order to combat "rapid response and disposal, rapid extraction and inspection, rapid comparison and expansion of lines, and rapid verification and landing".
