<b>The</b> British comedy "David Copperfield's Personal History" starring Dave Patel ("Slumdog Millionaire") and starring Peter Capalti, Hugh Laurie, Tilda Swinton, Ben Whishaw and others has been exposed as a trailer and poster.
The film provides a new, modern and comedic interpretation of Charles Dickens's semi-autobiographical literary work David Copperfield, telling the story of Copperfield who finds his place in a chaotic world, and after an unhappy childhood, gradually discovers his talent for writing. His life was full of joy and sorrow, but it was always full of life, color and humanity.
The film was directed by Armando Ianucci (Vice President, Death of Stalin), which also premiered at the 2019 London Film Festival. The film will be officially released in the UK on January 10, 2020.
