Dev Patel (born 23 April 1990 in London, England) is an actor.

Dave Patel was born in Harrow, London, England, to Indian parents, a caregiver mother and it consultant father. Elementary school in Longfield. He began learning taekwondo at the age of 10 and received a black belt at the age of 16 and participated in several international competitions, winning 37 medals. After that, he enrolled in Whitemore in high school, where he studied drama.

In 2007, he began to enter the show business circle, and his first work was the British e4 TV series "Skin Bag", in which he played a British Pakistani teenager Anwar Kharral.

In 2012, he joined the Oscar-winning best screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and HBO to co-create the TV series "Newsroom".
