The fantasy film "The Green Rider" starring Dave Patel ("Slumdog Millionaire") has released an official trailer, directed by David Lowey, and co-starring Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Barry Keoghan, Sean Harris, Ralph Ineson and others. The film was rated R due to violent gore and was released in North America on July 30.
The film is based on the story "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight". Gawain is the most graceful knight of the Round Table in King Arthurian legend and the nephew of King Arthur. Legend has it that King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table were celebrating the New Year when a Green Knight broke into the hall and threatened to have a beheading contest with the knights.
