On the 19th, the reporter interviewed the Tibetan "post-00s" young man Renqing Dongzhibu, who won the championship in the athletics marathon of the 14th National Games not long ago.

Born on the north shore of Qinghai Lake, this "sheep herding baby" lives in Haiyan County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, and now that he has become a national champion, he still insists on training: "The National Games are over, but the training cannot be interrupted, and there will be bigger competitions in the future. ”

On September 26, the Athletics Marathon of the 14th National Games started in the torrential rain. After fierce competition, Renqing Dongzhibu won the championship and won the first gold for the Qinghai delegation at the National Games. This is also the second time that qinghai athletes won the gold medal in the marathon of the National Games after eight years after winning the championship at the 12th National Games in 2013. Behind the honor lies the young player's unusually arduous training and preparation experience.

On October 15, 2000, Renqing Dongzhibu was born in Dayu Wugu Village, Qinghai Lake Township, Haiyan County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It can be said that this is an ordinary Tibetan herdsman family with no sports genes at all. Renqing Dongzhibu grew up with his grandparents in his hometown and helped the family herd cattle and sheep after school.

When he was very young, he liked to chase cattle and sheep on the grassland, and perhaps it was this seemingly casual but very endurance-oriented running that trained the strong physique of Renqing Dongzhibu and laid a solid physical foundation for him to engage in middle-distance running.

Speaking of Renqing Dongzhibu, the vice principal of Haibei Prefecture Amateur Sports School still clearly remembers the scene when Renqing Dongzhibu was first discovered that Renqing Dongzhibu had a talent for sports.

It was 2015, he represented Haibei Prefecture in the Third Ethnic Minority Middle School Students Games in Qinghai Province, and won the men's long-distance running 3,000 meters and 10,000 meters in the first victory. It was the first time he had competed, and he got such a good result, which surprised me at the time. It was this time that Renqing Dongzhibu's performance attracted the attention of Cai Ri.

In 2018, Renqing Dongzhibu was recommended to the Qinghai provincial team and followed coach Su Wei to undergo regular long-distance running training. During training, he interrupted training for physical reasons, but thinking about the expectations of his coaches and family, he overcame the difficulties and persevered, and showed outstanding long-distance running talent.

Subsequently, Renqing Dongzhibu entered the Qinghai Provincial Sports Team and began to conduct more professional training. After only one year of professional training, since 2019, he has begun to participate in some national competitions and successfully reached the final in the 10,000 meters competition of the Second National Youth Games; at the 2019 Xi'an Half Marathon Championship, he won the excellent result of 68 minutes and 27 seconds; in the 2019 Honggu Half Marathon, he won the second place with a time of 68 minutes and 33 seconds; in 2019, he won the third place with a time of 68 minutes and 25 seconds at the Anning Hot Spring Plateau International Half Marathon; in 2020, He won the second place in the Lanzhou Zhangye Half Marathon, and in the same year, he won the third place in the Yunnan Yulong Bay Half Marathon...

For three years, cold and summer, the coach carefully taught, renqing Dongzhibu trained hard, no complaints and no regrets. A cowherd from the grassland, with the loving guidance of the coaching team and personal diligence, transformed into the "strongest post-00s" runners in the domestic marathon.

After the marathon of the 14th National Games, more people knew about this Tibetan boy from Haibei, Qinghai, "very hardworking, very low-key, polite." "It's everyone's evaluation of him.

When the reporter asked him how he felt after winning the championship, the young man who was in the limelight on the field said slightly shyly: "I just want to live up to the people who pay attention to me and support me through my unremitting efforts, and constantly achieve better results and win glory for the people of my hometown." ”

When talking about his family, Renqing Dongzhibu was slightly lost. In most people's lives, spending time with their families is normal, but for him, spending time with their families is a luxury. Since joining the sports team, the heavy training tasks and participation in various competitions, he has not returned home for two full years.

When talking about what sports have changed him, Renqing Dongzhibu told reporters: "I am a sheep herding baby, and now I am proud to represent Qinghai to participate in competitions everywhere, and I have achieved good results in the competition The coaching team and the strength given to me by my hometown fathers and elders have given me." I will continue to work hard, accumulate more experience, do my best and without reservation, continue to struggle for the cause of sports in Qinghai, and win more honors for my hometown. (End)
