At about 7:30 a.m., the representatives of teachers and students lined up neatly outside the North Gate, and under the presidency of Xue Shuwen, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, the opening ceremony of the north gate of Jiaozuo No. 1 Middle School officially began.

It not only greatly improves the traffic conditions around the campus and facilitates teachers and students to travel; it also adds a beautiful scenery to Binhe Road because of its simple and generous design, and realizes the local government's idea of stringing together Henan Polytechnic University, Jiaozuo No.1 Middle School, Henan Vocational College of Industry and Information Technology, and Yellow River Science and Technology Biology College to build Binhe Road into a cultural and educational road that enhances the image of the city and improves people's livelihood and well-being. According to reports, after the opening of Binhe Road in early 2021, Jiaozuo No. 1 Middle School began to plan the design and construction of the north gate, and began construction in early July, during which it overcame the flood conditions and the impact of the epidemic and was completed in early October this year. Because the school's No. 6 and No. 7 teaching buildings are currently under construction, in order to ensure safety, for a period of time, after the opening of the north gate, it will be mainly used for the entry and exit of engineering vehicles and the departure and return of students on weekends, and will not be used for the daily entry and exit of teachers and students. After the completion of the construction of Teaching Buildings No. 6 and 7, the North Gate will be fully opened.
