Tall ginkgo biloba, silver maple and golden leaf elm surround the two emblem sculptures of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Jinyuanqiao District, forming a colorful plant barrier. On October 26, the Beiqing-Beijing Headline Reporter learned from the Shoushou Group that this was originally part of the greening project around the Winter Olympic Stadium and along Fushi Road, creating a good landscape environment for the Winter Olympics.
Jinyuan Bridge is located at the intersection of Fushi Road and West Fifth Ring Road. Fushi Road is an important liaison line during the 2022 Winter Olympics, and Jinyuanqiao District is a necessary node to the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee through Fushi Road and the West Fifth Ring Road. In the whole landscape upgrading and transformation, the ecological company of the first group is responsible for the greening of the bridge area.
Wang Ziwen, project manager of the Ecological Division of the Ecological Company of the First Capital Group, introduced that the total green area of Jinyuanzhuang Bridge exceeds 100,000 square meters, which is also the gateway and necessary point for citizens to enter Shijingshan District, and the original planting form is single, lacking iconic and systematic design. This renovation is mainly designed along the two emblem sculptures of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Jinyuanqiao District. For example, the slope design around the winter Olympic emblem in the northeast corner of Jinyuan Bridge is carried out, and the large-leaved boxwood and dragon cypress are planted in layers, showing a three-dimensional effect.
Beiqing-Beijing headline reporters drove on the main road of the West Fifth Ring Road and found that the overall effect of the landscape overlooking the fifth ring road. The layered planting of large-leaf boxwood and cypress seems to grow on a shallow mountain, and combined with the outermost layer of ginkgo biloba, silver maple and golden leaf elm plant barrier, it is more spectacular.
The first ecological company has also transformed the green belt on both sides of Fushi Road, using hedges and flowers to create a mold pattern, and the hedge color is extracted from the bamboo green (large-leaf boxwood) and spring yellow (golden leaf Privet) in the color system of the Winter Olympic Games, and the flowers are mostly selected with native plants with seasonal seasonal flowers, forming the effect of spring, summer and autumn flowers and winter leaf appreciation.
In addition, not only during the day, but also at night, the landscape effect will be more beautiful. Wang Ziwen introduced that linear light strips are set up in various landscape designs, and even at night, you can see the "snowflake" effect made by the green plants of the Winter Olympics.
